Bitcoin price is trading at a crucial position after experiencing recent declines. Large holders and miners have initiated profit-taking movements in the crypto market, raising concerns about market decline. Analysts predict Bitcoin may reach $75,000 soon, triggered by the events above.
A Dormant Whale Booked $85.7M Profit
A Bitcoin address that had remained dormant for 1.5 years became active when it resumed trading operations. Blockchain data shows that an entity made a transaction into the FalconX exchange by depositing 300 BTC, which was evaluated as $25.1 million. The whale bought 1,500 Bitcoin from Cumberland on August 18, 2023, with an average purchase price of $26,353. On acquisition, the investment amounted to $39.5 million.

After depositing funds at the exchange, the whale sent 1,050 BTC totaling $87.2 million through two new wallets. The Bitcoin amount totaling 150 BTC with an approximate value of $12.5 million still resides in the original wallet. The strategic fund reallocation indicates an upcoming potential sales trend by this entity. Large whale Bitcoin transactions frequently generate market volatility that may lead to a decrease in Bitcoin price.
BTC Miners Activity and U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs Outflows
Besides the whales’ transactions, Bitcoin miners have showcased their tendency to profit from operations. CryptoQuant data shows that Bitcoin miners have sold off more than $27 million through collective actions. Miner profitability measured in USD has increased, indicating that early miners seize the crypto’s current higher prices to earn profits. The increased mining operations’ sell-off raises supply concerns since these sales might put downward pressure on BTC price.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin shows declining interest from institutional investors at this time. U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have suffered five consecutive weeks of investor redemption. The outflow of funds from these ETFs reached $3.56 billion during February. Additional outflows worth $1.67 billion occurred during March following the ongoing negative trend from February. Since February 6, only four days have recorded positive inflows, indicating that investors remain cautious about Bitcoin’s future price action.
Bitcoin Price Shows Resistance Near Key Levels
The BTC price decreased by 2.12% on Sunday, triggering a brief correction that lasted until it rose by 0.83% at the start of the week. Market volatility caused the Bitcoin price to stay at approximately $83,000. Market participants watch as Bitcoin tests its $81,855 Fibonacci support while staying at an important technical area.
Currently, the cryptos price stands at a crucial determination point as it retests a resistance line that it broke during previous periods. Its next significant price move might emerge from this point. Bitcoin shows signs of recovery from its lowest Bollinger Band position while the price climbs toward the 20-day simple moving average (SMA).

Additionally, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator has produced a positive crossover that suggests upcoming short-term price stability. Experts predict Bitcoin will fall to $75,000 if it cannot sustain prices above $81,855.
