XRP Price Eyes 800% Surge Toward $21 With Potential Breakout To $152+
XRP Price

XRP price traded at $2.20 at press time. This altcoin marked a 1.48% increase over the past 24 hours. It witnessed a notable recovery after dipping as low as $2.13 on June 2. Later, the crypto steadily climbed during the overnight trading session into June 3.

The upward momentum hints at renewed buying interest. It also signals growing confidence among traders as XRP defends its short-term support.

Analyst Identifies 800% Surge Potential Based on Fibonacci Structure

Amid the bearish assent, market analyst Javon Marks says XRP may be positioned for a substantial move based on historical chart patterns and Fibonacci levels. The analyst has identified a bullish continuation formation. It aligns with the triangle setup observed between 2014 and 2017.

During that period, XRP consolidated before breaking out to $3.31. It’s a price move that coincided with the 1.0 Fibonacci level.

Marks sees a similar structure developing between 2018 and 2023, with a breakout occurring in early 2024. Following that breakout, XRP revisited the $3.31 level, matching the previous cycle’s outcome.

As explained by the analyst in the current chart, XRP has advanced beyond the multi-year triangle. This move places it on course to reach the 1.618 Fibonacci level at $21.34.

Using this technical structure, Marks projects a potential 800% increase from current levels. He further points to the 2.272 Fibonacci extension level, which could lead XRP toward $153.09 under the same historical setup.

This projection is based strictly on recurring chart symmetry and calculated Fibonacci ratios rather than any change in underlying fundamentals.

Parallel Consolidation Patterns Highlighted by Additional Analyst

Meanwhile, CRYPTOWZRD has pointed to a different but related technical observation. The analyst has noted that XRP is currently undergoing a consolidation phase, resembling the pattern observed in 2017.

During that earlier market cycle, XRP surged initially before consolidating for 210 days and then rallying to an all-time high. CRYPTOWZRD has tracked the ongoing consolidation in the current market, now reaching day 189.

According to CRYPTOWZRD, this current setup shares characteristics similar to those of the 2017 phase. Both patterns involve a steep rally followed by a tight consolidation range.

The present range sits just below the $2.80 resistance level. Based on the number of consolidation bars and structure, the analyst believes XRP is near a critical point that could precede a sharp upward move.

The focus remains on the $2.80 resistance level, which CRYPTOWZRD has identified as the key threshold to watch. A break above that point could initiate a new phase of bullish activity. The structural conditions align with the previous breakout setup.

XRP Price Remains Under Resistance Despite Historical Correlations

Despite the technical forecasts, XRP has yet to reclaim levels above its key resistance zones. As of June 2, data from Santiment indicates that XRP is trading near $2.19, continuing a downtrend from its January peak of $3.38.

This decline followed mid-range rallies in late March and again in mid-May, though neither was sustained. The current price remains capped under the $2.50 resistance area. That has limited the upside momentum of XRP price over recent weeks.

XRP’s inability to maintain higher levels comes amid mixed signals in broader market sentiment and resistance around previously tested price zones. While bullish patterns have emerged from technical analysis, recent market behavior still reflects indecision.

This ongoing pattern of volatility and resistance reflects the gap between technical projections and the current XRP price behavior. Notably, analysts have outlined that XRP’s historical movements have previously required long consolidation periods before breakouts.
