Key Insights:
- ADA’s support zone between $0.63–$0.64 is crucial for sustaining bullish momentum after recent price corrections.
- Trading volume for ADA surged 45.36%, with long positions dominating, indicating a cautiously bullish market sentiment.
- Cardano leads all blockchains in 1-year development commits, surpassing Ethereum with over 21,000 updates..
Cardano (ADA) price might be reaching a critical point in its shorter-term movement, according to technical signals and support levels. After a correction period where ADA dipped by more than 9% in a week, analysts are now indicating a level noted as critical support. This zone could determine whether the asset regains momentum or continues to decline.
Cardano Price Support at $0.63 and $0.64
Over the past week, Cardano price dropped from a high of $0.73 to a low near $0.60, but recent price action has centered around the $0.6328 level. According to analyst MyCryptoParadise on TradingView, a change in structure has now developed on the ADA/USDT 4-hour chart that has been labeled as an internal change of character (I-CHoCH). The trend implied that the asset could be moving out of a bearish market into a bullish one.

Notably, the support zone between $0.63 and $0.64 is attracting attention due to its prior role as a resistance level. On June 16, ADA price rebounded from $0.61 to test $0.65, converting previous resistance into support.
In addition, maintaining price stability in this zone is considered essential for any upward continuation. However, a failure to hold above the $0.6200 invalidation level could prompt a reassessment of bullish positions.
MACD Shows Bullish Divergence
More so, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator showed a strong indication of a recovery. In the 4-hour chart, ADA price made a lower low, whereas the MACD histogram and signal lines created higher lows. This deviation usually represents relaxing bearish momentum and the possible trend reversal.
Consequently, the MACD strengthened the internal structure change, which was seen in the earlier part of the week. These signals, combined with the strong support zone around $0.63 to $0.64, present a case for potential upside. A ADA price breakout above the $0.67 resistance would further confirm bullish momentum and open the path toward a short-term target of $0.70.
Cardano Derivatives Metrics Reflect Cautious Optimism
Meanwhile, Cardano derivatives data further reinforced the potential for recovery. Trading volume jumped 45.36% to $1.26 billion, signaling renewed market activity. Long/short ratios show a dominant long positioning, particularly on major platforms like Binance (2.6765) and OKX (2.4), suggesting that traders are positioning for upside movement.

Funding rates maintained positive figures, supporting the fact that leveraged traders are optimistic about an imminent increase. Although the open interest decreased by 4.07% to 747.58 million, the general sentiment is stable. Long liquidations amounted to 1.6 million, much more than short liquidations of $236K. This is a long market, although they are volatile in the short term.

However, options trading volume dropped by over 92%, indicating reduced institutional or hedging activity. This decline in options flow suggests fewer expectations for major price swings, at least in the near term. Despite this, the setup remains structurally bullish unless key support is broken.
Cardano Leads in Core Development Activity
In a development-related metric, ADA has outpaced all other blockchain networks in core commits over the past year. Data from Cryptometheus reveals that ADA recorded 21,045 GitHub commits, surpassing Ethereum’s 20,505. Internet Computer followed in third with 18,159.

Notably, the metric showed that the ongoing pace of development and long-term infrastructure is Cardano focus. The large number of commits has been widely used as a signifier of active work, continuous upgrading, and interaction within the community. Compared with ADA, Ethereum had a smaller score in this measure, despite its wider ecosystem.
Other blockchain projects also made the top rankings. Arbitrum registered 11,022 commits, while MultiversX posted 9,773. The data suggested that despite market fluctuations, Cardano technical development is steady and active.
