The Cardano price struggled to stay above the $0.55 mark, slipping into deeper losses amid persistent market weakness. After topping near $0.86 in May 2025, ADA dropped more than 30%, reflecting broader bearish momentum across the crypto sector.
Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $100,000, dragging altcoins with it. ADA continued forming lower lows, signaling mounting sell pressure. Meanwhile, the global crypto market cap dropped to $3.05 trillion, falling 4.28% in 24 hours. Trading volume surged 87.56% to $148.86 billion, while liquidations topped $1.01 billion—further underscoring elevated volatility.
Cardano Price Tests Key Support, Reversal Possible
The price of Cardano has approached the technical zone that has been deemed critical by a crypto analyst, as the price approaches the $0.56 level on the weekly scale.
The analyst indicates a possible formation of double-bottom which is one of the typical bullish reversal patterns that may point to an upward trend should it be authenticated.
Now, the level of $0.56 is serving as a point of great support. A good bounce out of this level may probably lead to a breakout, and the upside targets are estimated at 0.9945, 1.2373, and even ample up to 1.5268.
Still, there are no risk-free prospects. Provided the support does not hold, the price of Cardano might slip far down the range. The following significant support, in that matter, is approximately at the level of $0.3299, where it would remove the recent gains.

The double-bottom pattern is at the stage of formation and needs to be confirmed to the further price action. Players in the market ought to pay close attention to this level to identify whether it is strong or weak.
Cardano Price Slides Lower Amid Bearish Momentum
At the time of reporting, the ADA price was trading at $0.5296, showing a slight 1.22% intraday gain.
Cardano (ADA) has been trending within a downward channel on the 4-hour chart, facing clear resistance near the $0.55 mark. The current structure suggests a bearish sentiment remains dominant as the price struggles below the $0.60 psychological level.
The technical indicators point to this conservative thinking. MACD has been printing reds, and the MACD line, as well as the signal line, are currently heading down. This indicates that the bearish spell is still underway, yet the histogram indicates the present weakening of selling pressure.
The same picture is observed in RSI. At 23.98, it is a heavily oversold indicator, and the sellers may have reached exhaustion. Nonetheless, a reversal has not yet happened as ADA has yet to confirm said shifts convincingly above the descending channel.

The resistance at $0.55 is proving to be a near-term barrier. A breakout above this level could signal early bullish intent. However, the more critical resistance lies at $0.60.
Reclaiming this zone is necessary to shift momentum and target higher levels around $0.65 and potentially $0.70 in the medium term.
On the downside, immediate support is seen at $0.50. A breakdown below this level could expose ADA to further losses toward $0.45, which serves as a stronger support base from a historical perspective.
