Key Insights:
- Cardano price trades near $0.838, facing resistance at $0.85–$0.87 for a breakout to $1.

Cardano price is pressing against a significant resistance range between $0.85 and $0.92, a zone now widely watched by analysts. Multiple technical indicators suggested that if this zone is cleared, ADA price could rally toward $1.20 without facing major resistance.
Cardano Price Approaches Major Sell Wall at $0.92
The current Cardano price structure remains bullish. The 4-hour chart shows ADA price has steadily surged from the $0.68 support. Analyst CW reported that the coin is approaching a large sell wall up to $0.92.
He also added that in addition to this resistance, the top altcoin can rally to a high of $1.20 without additional selling.

CW’s chart displayed dense liquidity in the $0.85–$0.92 range, acting as the last resistance. ADA price is already consolidating right below this area, creating an uptrend of higher lows. This trend is typically associated with bullish continuation.
Cardano Price $0.85–$0.87 Resistance Zone
Additionally, technical analyst Sssebi shared a 4-hour chart showing ADA price consolidating just below the $0.85–$0.87 resistance zone. The chart illustrated a bullish continuation pattern supported by a rising trendline and 50-period simple moving average (SMA).
Cardano’s price briefly touched $0.848 before facing rejection, but the volume remained healthy, and the RSI held around 63, suggesting that bulls are still in control.

Sssebi viewed that after the break, the resistance level of the $0.85-$0.87, the next target would be $1. Recent sessions have a symmetrical pattern, which is a sign of an accumulation before a breakout. After a sequence of higher lows, a consolidation occurred with a key support of around $0.80.
Audit Report Timeline Supports Market Confidence
While technicals dominate trader focus, sentiment is being shaped by ongoing events within the Cardano ecosystem. Founder Charles Hoskinson confirmed receiving the initial draft of the long-awaited Input Output Global (IOG) audit report. He added that the report remains as planned but requires more detail and context.
Hoskinson anticipated the complete audit to be published in mid-August. According to the Cardano news, a live stream reading of the report will be on a custom website. Historical artifacts from ADA’s original token sale will also be included.
The audit follows earlier accusations that $600 million worth of ADA had been misappropriated during a previous hard fork. Hoskinson refuted the claims. He said no unearned ADA was granted to IOG and clarified that all unclaimed tokens were later donated to Intersect after seven years.
The publication of the audit will probably become a defining point of the investor sentiment. Hoskinson has also announced intentions to explore a defamation law firm concerning the allegations.
Grayscale Ranks ADA Third
Meanwhile, Cardano’s upward trend is also supported by new institutional attention. Grayscale Investments published a snapshot ranking ADA third among the top 10 crypto assets by 1-week performance. Cardano recorded a 21.9% year-to-date return, trailing only XRP and Stellar. Ethereum recorded a gain of 18.1%, whereas Bitcoin trailed at 3.1%.

This performance reflected Cardano’s re-entry into the broader investor conversation after months of low volatility and network criticism. ADA’s $31 billion market cap now places it back among high-profile layer-1 projects, reinforcing the narrative that the ecosystem is regaining traction.
With momentum building around price action, audit clarity, and institutional ranking, Cardano price is positioned to test new cycle highs.
