Ethereum (ETH) price has surged past the $3,900 mark for the first time this year, signaling strong bullish momentum. The cryptocurrency has climbed over 60% in the past month, driven by rising investor confidence and institutional interest. Trading volume has spiked significantly, with 24-hour ETH volume reaching $29.96 billion, marking a 22.38% increase.
Market sentiment has strengthened, with traders now watching the critical $4,000 resistance level. The overall crypto market is also gaining traction, as the global market cap hit $3.97 trillion, up 1.82% in the last 24 hours.
Trading volume across the board rose by 26%, fueled by major rallies. Bitcoin soared past $119,000, BNB reached a new all-time high, and Solana approached the $200 mark. Other leading altcoins like XRP, ADA, and DOGE also posted significant gains.
SharpLink Acquires 77,210 ETH Worth $295 Million, Holdings Reach $1.69 Billion
SharpLink has added 77,210 ETH to its cryptocurrency portfolio. The recent acquisition is valued at approximately $295 million.
According to blockchain tracking platform Lookonchain, this latest transaction brings SharpLink’s total Ethereum holdings to a staggering 438,017 ETH. At current market rates, that equates to roughly $1.69 billion.
The transfers, visible on Arkham Intelligence, show consistent outflows from multiple wallets into a centralized Ethereum address linked to SharpLink. The firm is consolidating its assets through a series of timed deposits.
Notably, several ETH transactions—each averaging around 3,200 ETH—were made over the past few hours. These deposits came from multiple intermediary addresses and were directed to the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract.
One wallet, identified as 0x6F3…, was heavily involved in repeated outflows, reflecting methodical accumulation behavior. SharpLink’s moves suggest a strong strategic interest in Ethereum at its current market price.
The significant ETH purchase aligns with a broader institutional trend toward increased crypto adoption. Blockchain data shows no immediate signs of liquidation, signaling a long-term investment intent.
Ethereum Price Futures Hit Record Amid Inflows
Ethereum CME Futures Open Interest has reached a record high of 7.85 billion, indicating an increase in institutional participation. The rally coincides with nearly $5 billion of inflows into ETH ETFs, emphasizing further accumulation by large investors.

Particularly, the U.S. ETH ETFs registered a net inflow of $1.8 billion this week, which is grossly aggressive compared to that of BTC ETFs, which registered only a net inflow of $70 million. In the current market, the odds estimate a 30% chance of Ethereum hitting higher price targets in the options market.
The bullish expectations are also backed by broader market metrics as the derivatives volume rose by 57.40% to 91.78 billion, and options volume rose by 68.60% to 1.46 billion. The open interest in options is currently at $12.02 billion.
Ethereum Price Surges Toward $4K Amid Bullish Momentum
The ETH price traded at $3,913, with a 4% surge over the past 24 hours as bulls maintained upward momentum.
Ethereum price is still on a bullish trend within an ascending channel that breaches resistance levels at the $4k mark. The daily chart shows that there has been continued buying pressure with ETH reaching new local highs.

The technical indicators are bullish. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) value is 82.43, which is in the overbought territory. This implies that there is a possibility of a short-term pullback. The bullish structure, however, is still in place as long as the price does not hit below the lower trendline.
The bullish mood is backed up with the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). The MACD line is 305.70, well calculated above the signal line 286.22. A favorable histogram also confirms the power of the buyer’s conviction.
Important resistance is at the levels of $3,950 and $4,000. Once broken above this level, this could cause a momentum drive towards the all-time high (ATH) of $4,891. The holdings are at levels like $3,700 and at the lower line of the rising channel.
