Key Insights:
- Ethereum price could be on track for a move to $4,220 and $5,140. This prediction is based on the MVRV Pricing Bands, as long as the $3,300 support holds.
- Liquidity is pulling Ethereum like a magnet.
- Public traded FG Nexus raises $200M to build an Ethereum treasury strategy. This happened as a USD1 daily transfer on ETH hits a new ATH of $155 million.
Ethereum price action has stayed bullish since the bottom of May. It has seen its value attempt to break the $4,000 resistance level.
The biggest altcoin traded at $3800 when writing, about 1.5% higher than the previous day’s close. This translates to about 7% gains in a week.
As per the data, Ethereum has outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) in the third quarter of the year. This has raised the sentiment that ETH could be a leader performance-wise before the year ends. It could ignite a broader altcoin market trend.
Will Ethereum Price Hit The $5140 Target
According to widely recognized analysts, Ali Charts on X (formerly Twitter), the Ethereum price could hit $5100. This boiled down to the fact that ETH must stay above the $3300 level and break past the $4220 mark.
ETH price was reclaiming the MVRV Extreme Deviation Pricing Bands. This suggests the inherent strength that has not been replicated in other altcoins.

Ethereum’s realized value was $2126 at the time of writing. With the price way above it, it confirmed the strength. Ethereum price was attacking the $4220 level, meaning a break of it could lead to the aforementioned target.
For the technical outlook, Crypto GEMs predicted that the Ethereum price would replicate the BTCUSDT pattern of 2020. This puts the ETH target at about $20K, aligning with Wall Street strategist Tom Lee. He aims to have BitMine as the ‘MicroStrategy of ETH’.
Ethereum Liquidity Concentration Above Current Price
According to Merlijn The Trader, another factor that drove the Ethereum price was the massive liquidity. It rested around the $4,000 resistance level.
Since liquidity is a magnetic price pull, ETH could likely hit this level before a deep pullback. A clean run on these liquidity clusters could also spark a short squeeze, resulting in a price rally.

Meanwhile, the lower liquidity sitting below the current price was as concentrated. Traders weren’t shorting the price toward the low liquidity zone. They also didn’t believe the price would drop to those levels.
ETH Treasuries Expanding Along With Stablecoins
Institutional and whale interest in Ethereum surged, signaling strong confidence in its long-term value. BlackRock emerged as a key driver of this accumulation trend, amplifying its influence on market sentiment. Apart from BlackRock, publicly traded FG Nexus was also raising $200 Million to build its Ethereum treasury strategy.
This comes as institutions like SharpLink Gaming continue their consistent Ethereum buying. The more institutions got involved, the more confidence it gave in an Ethereum price rally. Standard Chartered Bank predicted that treasuries could own 10% of the ETH supply.

On the individual accumulation, since July 9, 11 fresh wallets have bought 722,152 ETH valued at $2.77 Billion. As per information posted by Crypto Rover, 3 of these wallets had recently purchased 73,821 ETH for $283M.
Stablecoins on Ethereum were making new highs in daily transfers, with Trump’s USD1 being the newest to hit this milestone. According to World Liberty Finance (WLFi), USD1’s transfers clocked in $155 Million. It’s a remarkable achievement, having launched a few months ago.

This proved that decentralization was surviving and thriving as the Ethereum community celebrated its 10th anniversary.
WLFi’s ongoing crypto accumulation helped support projections nearing $178 Million. This trend suggested growing confidence in their portfolio strategy and market positioning.
