INJ Price rose 7.16% on August 4, outperforming all major Layer 1 assets during a market-wide retracement.
This was after a short-term 8.77% correction on August 1, when the profit-taking took hold following the recent bullish news.
However, the momentum picked up quickly as traders reacted to the Injective Ethernia Upgrade and the ETF filing by Cboe.
By August 4, the INJ Price rebounded and rose to $13.31 as it bounced back from key support.

The Real World Asset (RWA) category also saw strong inflows, rising 6.9% on the day. In particular, HASH increased 13.89% and XLM by 9.34% according to CoinGecko.
INJ Price Supported by Speed, Revenue, and Gas Efficiency
Injective is the sixth-fastest block time in Layer 1s and has a rapid 731ms processing speed, faster than Ethereum and Avalanche.
It is also ranked ninth in transaction per second (TPS) with a speed of 20.3 TPS, beating Ethereum’s 19 TPS and Avalanche’s 5.3 TPS.

According to Artemis Analytics, Injective has recorded an annualised protocol revenue of more than $14.1 million.
This surpasses Cardano, Aptos, Polkadot, and Sui, solidifying its reputation as a Layer 1 that leads its revenue.

Even the transaction costs have been reduced, as Injective rolled out its gas compression in January 2024.
Daily transactions have since increased steadily to hit 7.5 million without pushing average fees above $10,000.
These operating statistics have contributed to the bullish sentiment, supporting that INJ Price has utility and use behind it.
In addition, the lower charges and high-speed execution are appealing to developers and users who desire an efficient decentralized infrastructure.
Bullish Chart Structure Points to Breakout for INJ Price
Technical analysis indicates that Injective forms an inverted head and shoulders (H&S) structure on higher time frames.
Accumulation zone is between 10.50 and 12.50, and the neckline resistance is holding at 16.50.
If the neckline is broken, the projected target is $37, indicating a potential 142% rally from current levels.
The pattern is a replica of the April breakout, where INJ Price moved up after a similar reversal pattern.

On momentum, the RSI is at 50.34, which is neutral, and the balance in direction.
However, the MACD line is above the signal, and the histogram is negative, indicating short-term caution.
Nevertheless, INJ Price is still above its 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages indicating that the overall trend is not broken.
It is currently trading just below the 20-day SMA at $13.90, which could act as resistance in the short term.
Analysts report that the neckline is vital, and a successful break could be a sign of bullish follow-through.
This upside potential is in tandem with robust underlying tailwinds such as network activity and institutional exposure.
Social, Institutional, and RWA Momentum Fuel Sentiment
According to LunarCrush analytics, INJ is one of the most discussed RWA assets on social media with 13.93K mentions.
Only LINK and HBAR were higher, showing the increasing community interest in the work of Injective within the RWA space.

Another significant catalyst is that the Cboe has recently filed a stake in an Injective ETF in the U.S. Upon approval, it would increase the institutional access to INJ and contribute to market depth.
The Ethernia Upgrade has also introduced EVM compatibility, which will simplify the development of Ethereum-native developers to create on Injective.
This will make Injective more attractive as a next-generation smart contract platform, coupled with low fees and high speeds.
