A new Litecoin (LTC) prediction just stunned the crypto market. Joao Wedson, the founder and CEO of Alphractal, has set a bullish target for Litecoin at $1,000.
If this projection holds, LTC may lead the next altcoin season, which is on the horizon. In the current market cycle, the price of LTC is exhibiting an uptrend as it recovers from its latest lows.
Joao Wedson’s Bullish Litecoin Price Prediction
In an X post, Wedson highlighted improving on-chain metrics that suggest Litecoin is primed for growth.
“Litecoin is about to shine,” says Wedson.
The CEO used technical and on-chain indicators to argue that LTC is undervalued and ready for a breakout. Wedson began by pointing out rising values of the Litecoin’s Blockchain Maturity index.
Network Maturity, as described by Wedson, is a composite index that tracks the development stage of a blockchain network.
The index aggregates several on-chain factors, including Market Age, Address Activity Ratio, and Wealth Distribution via Inverse Gini.

The Market Age, which tracks how long a network has been operational, surged to 20% for Litecoin. A higher market age implies greater reliability and adoption history.
Additionally, the Address Activity Ratio rose to 25%. A rising ratio indicates growing user engagement and organic activity.
Wedson, therefore, argued that LTC’s rising maturity supports stronger long-term sustainability, making it attractive for investors seeking less risky altcoins.
He outlined specific price levels that positioned LTC for a bullish breakout. According to Wedson, the True Market Mean Price at $88 acts as strong support.
He added that a move above $123 could signal the start of a bull run toward $183, then $900 and possibly $1,000.
Systemic Bias on LTC’s Store of Value Capabilities
Amid the bullish LTC price projections, Flippin Finance, a crypto entertainment platform on X, criticized a recent report from Fidelity Digital Assets.
Flipppin specifically focused on the sections on Litecoin and Bitcoin (BTC) as stores of value.
They argued that the report demonstrated a clear bias by emphasizing technical merits for Bitcoin, while focusing solely on the price of LTC.
According to Flippin, a non-biased report on Litecoin’s viability as a store of value would mirror the structure and depth of analysis given to BTC.
The report would then discuss Litecoin’s price performance in the context of its store-of-value potential.
Alongside, it would acknowledge that, despite these technical strengths, Litecoin’s price has not consistently reflected the same market confidence as Bitcoin.
Can the Altcoin Hit $1000? The catch
In his post, Wedson said a CVDD (Change in Valuation Deviation from Delta) top at $900 for LTC would stretch the price to $1000.
The $1,000 target, however, accounts for extra upside if factors like broader adoption amplify it.
This is highly speculative because while CVDD has been accurate for Bitcoin, it is less so for altcoins like LTC.
At press time, LTC is priced at $113.6, representing a 0.5% increase over the past 24 hours. However, LTC daily trading volumes have decreased by 20.3% to $650 million.
LTC is moving in a tight range after touching highs of $116 and testing lows near $112.4.
If bulls manage to reclaim above $124, the Litecoin price could gain momentum between $128 and $130. However, if support breaks, a slide toward $115 remains possible.
Meanwhile, Wedson is among other analysts who recently raised an optimistic outlook for LTC.
For instance, analyst Solberg Invest has highlighted $230 as the first target in this macro rally cycle. The analyst noted that $230 matches the major resistance seen in early 2022.
