Cardano (ADA) has experienced a notable increase in open interest over the past 24 hours.
Within this timeframe, Cardano traders committed $1.67 billion in open interest (OI), sparking speculations about a big ADA rally soon.
Market participants are optimistic that the ADA price could see a breakout to $0.95, amid rising investor interest and Cardano ecosystem developments.
The Cardano OI Outlook
According to CoinGlass data, a total of 1.94 billion ADA were committed to the coin’s futures market in the past 24 hours. In dollar terms, this open interest figure translates to $1.67 billion, which traders have bet on ADA.
The move indicates that these investors anticipate a possible breakout in the Cardano price of ADA in the coming day. ADA is already showing signs of rebound as the cryptocurrency market begins recovering from the recent downturn.
Notably, the current market activity for ADA is dominant on Binance, OKX, and Bybit. Binance leads with $365.6 million committed to Cardano’s futures market, representing 18.86% of total open interest.
Bybit and OKX traders pledged $227.25 million and $78.16 million, respectively. Some analysts speculate that retail investors on these exchanges could support price action, just like whales.
Despite the increased price and ADA whales betting on ADA, volume remains low at $1.14 billion. This is equivalent to a 34% decline over the previous day.
Cardano Positioning to Own the Crypto Map
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has articulated the network’s vision to own the entire crypto map. Hoskinson says ADA is well-positioned for this vision, highlighting their innovation releases.
These include post-quantum security, the privacy-centric Midnight sidechain, and an expanding partner chain ecosystem.

Midnight is a new privacy-centric sidechain built on the Cardano ecosystem, designed to leverage zero-knowledge cryptography. It operates as a sidechain of the Cardano blockchain, expanding its functionality.
Midnight has initiated its first token distribution phase for NIGHT, targeting users across eight major blockchains. Hoskinson even described the Glacier Drop as the biggest airdrop ever.
The Cardno founder has also outlined a vision of the blockchain becoming a fully quantum-resistant system over the coming years.
He outlined that Cardano will introduce a proof chain as an independent verification layer to prepare for quantum technology.
Hoskinson further noted that blockchains must define comprehensive security models that consider what kind of adversaries they will face. These developments in the Cardano ecosystem all support a possible bullish rally.
Is the Cardano Price to $0.95 Imminent?
As of this writing, ADA price traded at $0.863, representing a 2.4% increase over the last 24 hours. ADA even peaked at $0.87 before experiencing a slight pullback to the current level.
The coin can potentially retest the $0.9 level if volume rebounds with price.
With ADA’s price on the verge of entering the $0.9 zone, Cardano bulls must push and sustain the recovery momentum. The asset needs to flip $0.95 to stand a chance at breaking other key resistance levels.
Cardano could witness a breakout above $0.95 as per developments in the broader ecosystem. The crypto market is recovering and has entered the green zone by 1.48%.
This recovery could spark a positive overall sentiment and encourage traders to invest additional funds in Cardano.
In his latest analysis, Ali Martinez believes ADA is primed to hit the $1 psychological level. The analyst highlighted $0.5 as a key resistance zone to ignite future gains.
Another analyst, Ozlem, projected a possible increase of 100% to 150%, setting the ADA price range between $1.60 and $1.75.
