Analyst Sets This Zone Key To Unlocking Next Cardano Price Rally

Cardano (ADA) price is passing through a key stage following the rejection point of $1.020 in August. The altcoin consolidated around its present price of $0.85, and the retail sentiment is bearish due to the sideways movement.

Nevertheless, although the smaller investors have a bearish tone, whale activity is reflecting an alternative sentiment the Cradano news. Analysts such as Dan Gambardello identified one of the major breakout areas that can lead to the next rally of Cardano price.

Cardano Price Current Market Sentiment

A series of challenges marked Cardano price recent market activity. After peaking at $1.020 in August, the altcoin price struggled to maintain momentum, leading to a period of consolidation at lower levels.

As of today, ADA is trading at approximately $0.85, up 3% in the past 24 hours. While this may seem like a minor rebound, it’s important to note that ADA’s performance is reflective of the broader market sentiment.

One key piece of data highlighted by Santiment showed that retail sentiment moved further into bearish territory, driven by the ongoing price stagnation. Nonetheless, Gambardello notes that the pessimism of retail investors can open up one opportunity to whale investors.

Cardano price movement history indicates that a bullish reversal usually follows extreme bearish sentiment. Better still, the ongoing consolidation period may precondition a possible breakout provided that the appropriate catalysts coincide.

Cardano Price $1.87 Breakout Zone

According to Gambardello, the key breakout point of Cardano was determined to be $1.87. This price is where the altcoin experienced resistance over the past months, especially at the neckline of an upward trendline on the weekly chart.

Should ADA overcome this primary resistance level, analysts think the altcoin is likely to experience a price increase. The $1.87 mark demonstrated its significance in history, and Cardano crypto halted there as recently as March and December 2024.

Once Cardano breaks this resistance, it could be positioned for a rally toward higher price levels, potentially setting the stage for a move toward $7.5 or even $10.

Cardano News: Factors Driving ADA Bullish Momentum

A number of reasons led to the increasing hype about Cardano news. The expected introduction of Cardano spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States is one of the biggest catalysts.

Following the examples of Bitcoin and Ethereum, the development of Cardano ETFs may open institutional liquidity, and ADA price would probably rally because of it. Gambardello noted that these ETFs will launch by October.

In addition to the Cardano ETFs, the timing of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision adds another layer of optimism. The market is currently anticipating a 25-basis point rate cut in September, with an 87% probability of it occurring.

A rate cut typically bullishly affects risk assets, including cryptos. Should the Fed deliver the expected rate cut, it could lead to renewed bullish sentiment across the crypto market.

Furthermore, the recent passage of the CLARITY Act, a bill to clarify crypto regulations in the U.S., raised hopes for a more favorable environment.

Cardano Founder Accelerates Leios Development

Meanwhile, in parallel with Cardano news, the founder, Charles Hoskinon, unveiled a new development model that would increase the pace of the Ouroboros Leios upgrade. Leios, which will improve the scalability and transaction throughput of Cardano is being developed in a follow-the-sun fashion.

This is where 24-hour work-around-the-clock teams exist in different time zones. Hoskinson stressed the urgency of the Leios upgrade, which he described as an important project in the future development of Cardano.

Hoskinson feels that Leios will enable Cardano to compete with the fastest blockchains such as Solana and Ethereum. This Cardano news might raise the long-term ADA price predictions.
