- Ondo builds on its partnership with JPMorgan.
Ondo price (ONDO) is surging amid institutional partnerships, product launches, and regulatory progress. Notably, Ondo Finance has partnered with WisdomTree, JPMorgan, and Fidelity.
It’s a blockchain-based platform specializing in tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs). Mark Janoff, the General Counsel of Ondo, will discuss with SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce as scheduled on September 10.
Impact of Ondo Global Markets Launch
Crypto analyst Kyren on X emphasized the transformative impact of Ondo ecosystem developments on price over the past two weeks. He urged his audience to look beyond the headlines to understand Ondo’s strategic momentum.

Kyren highlighted the launch of Ondo Global Markets as a major catalyst for the ONDO rally in the last 14 days. This platform allows non-U.S. investors to access tokenized versions of over 100 U.S. stock ETFs on the Ethereum blockchain.
Analyst further highlighted Ondo Global Markets Alliance as an “often overlooked” but crucial part of the initiative. This coalition includes Web3 leaders like wallets, exchanges, custodians, infrastructure providers, and asset managers.
The mission of the Alliance is to make global markets open, programmable, and accessible. On September 8, WisdomTree, a global asset manager with $131 Billion in AUM, joined as the first traditional financial entity.
This move bridges TradFi and Web3, enhancing credibility and accelerating on-chain standards for stocks and funds. According to Kyren, the launch of Global Markets resulted in tons of new assets entering the Ondo ecosystem. This caused the total issued RWAs in ONDO to spike from under double digits to 105.
As a result, the RWA total value locked (TVL) hit a new all-time high of $1.45 Billion. This explosive growth reflects surging demand for Ondo’s tokenized products.
The Ondo Partnership With Fidelity
ONDO has partnered strategically with Fidelity through its newly launched on-chain money market fund. This collaboration marks a significant step in bridging traditional finance with blockchain-based investment products.
On Tuesday, September 9, Fidelity launched the Fidelity Digital Interest Token (FDIT) on Ethereum. This is a tokenized share class of its Treasury Digital Fund (FYOXX), backed by short-term U.S. Treasuries.
Ondo Finance noted that its OUSG (Ondo Short-Term US Treasuries Fund) is the sole anchor investor. It represents over 99% of FDIT’s assets. OUSG, launched in January 2023, has grown into a flagship product with over $730 Million in TVL.
OUSG delivers instant, 24/7 subscriptions, redemptions, daily interest accruals, and low fees. It offers multi-chain support across Ethereum, Solana, Ripple, and Polygon.
Therefore, the partnership with Fidelity represents a significant milestone in the institutional acceptance of tokenization. It adds to a growing list of leading asset managers bringing traditional money-market products onchain.
Ondo Finance Collaborates with JPMorgan
Ondo has also formed a key partnership with investment giant JPMorgan. In a CNBC interview, Nelli Zaltsman, Head of Platform Settlement Solutions at Kinexys by JPMorgan, highlighted the Ondo partnership.
Nelli also discussed the successful cross-chain delivery-versus-payment (DvP) pilot conducted with Ondo Finance and Chainlink. The partnership with JPMorgan validates Ondo’s technology for institutional use, bridging private TradFi rails with public DeFi.
It could also enable seamless global payments, driving RWA adoption. In his post, Kyren mentioned that Mark Janoff, Ondo General Counsel, will discuss with SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce later today.
The proposed dialogue signals Ondo’s push for regulatory clarity in the RWA sector. Kyren emphasized that Ondo has engaged the crypto task force multiple times. These discussions follow an earlier Ondo partnership with Sei, which led to a 10% rally in just one hour.
ONDO, the native digital asset of Ondo Finance, has surged 4.2% over the previous day to $1.01. The soaring trading volume further indicates the bullish outlook, suggesting increased market activity. ONDO trading volume skyrocketed by an amazing 111.5% to $406.3 million.
