Solana price is approaching a critical breakout zone on the weekly chart. Analysts believe a validated high above $250 might lead to the next bull run in Solana. If successful, the long-run targets are projected to be around $1,250, supported by the institutional inflows and technical configurations.
Solana Price Breakout Watch
Trader Tardigrade’s chart showed Solana price breaking out of a prolonged weekly consolidation. The token had two deviations, both above and below the range.

Solana price traded near $235 at press time, sitting just above the purple consolidation box. This breakout zone was circled as an important signaling zone. Tardigrade compared this setup to 2023, when Solana rallied sharply after leaving a similar pattern behind.
The chart projected a possible green path past $1,000 and close to $1,700 if bullish momentum is to continue. His analysis indicated that strong movements typically follow deviations when the price reclaims the range and closes above.
This setup indicates that the Solana price may start a new expansion phase. A prolonged high of $230-$235 would confirm strength.
Ascending Triangle On Weekly Chart
Captain Faibik, another analyst, found a big rising triangle on Solana’s weekly chart. The structure displayed higher lows, pushing consistently at resistance at $250.

The rising triangle illustrates building pressure under resistance. Each higher low was supportive in the case of eventual breakout continuation.
According to Faibik, the accumulation cannot last forever. Closing above $250 would confirm the triangle pattern and launch Solana into its next stage.
Forward Industries Buys $1.58 Billion SOL.
Meanwhile, institutional interest is also shaping Solana’s outlook. SolanaFloor reported that Forward Industries purchased 6.82 million SOL at an average of $232, for $1.58 billion.

Such accumulation provides clear evidence of institutional confidence in Solana’s long-term value.
Buying at these levels strengthens Solana’s price floor during consolidation. Forward’s decision indicates belief in the network’s future expansion and growth. Large-scale acquisitions can create more support zones. Traders view this kind of accumulation as a hedge on implied downside volatility.
Galaxy Digital Ramps Up Buying Activity
Furthermore, Christopher Cet reported Galaxy Digital has already purchased $1.15 billion of SOL over the last three days. He said the firm’s accumulation objective of $1.6 billion should be achieved this week.
On-chain data showed Galaxy Digital’s buying activity on Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, Gemini, and other exchanges. Purchases ranged from 14,000 SOL to more than 80,000 SOL in single transfers.
Cet stressed that this accumulation was the result of a profound institutional belief. Galaxy Digital is positioning ahead of a possible breakout.
Such large inflows diminish liquidity on exchanges, potentially supporting higher prices. The institutional involvement correlates with bullish technical structures that other analysts share.
