The crypto market constantly evolves, and traders usually look for high-potential projects to grow their investments. With blockchain adoption growing exponentially, some projects are standing out from the crowd.
Some of the best cryptocurrencies to buy this week are Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Bitcoin (BTC), and Hyperliquid (HYPER).
Ethereum (ETH)
Ethereum is the second biggest cryptocurrency by market cap, currently at $539.48 Billion. The Ethereum blockchain hosts the largest ecosystem of decentralized applications (dApps), with thousands of projects in Decentralized Finance (DeFi).
ETH price has historically appreciated due to growing adoption. On August 24, ETH reached a new all-time high (ATH) of $4,946.5. Although the price has dropped from this peak, it is still far above historic lows.
According to CoinMarketCap data, ETH is currently valued at $4,440, up 4.8% over the past month. Increased institutional interest is a key factor in the recent ETH price surge.
Ethereum treasury strategy gained momentum this year, with large-scale purchases from Tom Lee’s Bitmine and SharpLink Gaming. BitMine and SharpLink grew their ETH holdings to $2 Billion in late July.
This massive buy pushed the ETH price closer to $4,000, a level unseen since December 2021. BitMine is currently the biggest corporate Ethereum holder with 2,151,676 ETH.
SharpLink follows behind, holding a total of 837,230 on its balance sheet. With growing institutional adoption, market analysts suggest that a price breakout for ETH could be imminent.
The Ripple-backed Coin, XRP
XRP, the Ripple-backed coin, has shown notable performance in 2025. It was driven by several key factors contributing to its profitability and market position.
XRP is designed to streamline cross-border payments with speed and low transaction costs. The cryptocurrency facilitates seamless money transfers, making it a preferred choice for financial institutions.
XRP is valued at $2.9, up 2.4% over the past month. However, XRP is down 1.4% and 5.4% over the past day and month. Some analysts have shared their perspective on the latest XRP price movement.
Versan Aljarrah claims XRP’s stagnation is a calculated move by major institutions. He believes they are intentionally suppressing its price to accumulate the asset before broader adoption.

He argued that institutions intentionally suppress XRP by accumulating at lower prices before broader adoption. While the claim is speculative, it aligns with recent whale accumulation patterns.
Additionally, analysts have set bullish targets for XRP. Steph, Crypto on X, forecasted that XRP could hit a new high of around $6.7.
Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin, the leading market cryptocurrency, is another top performer for the week. Since its launch in 2009, Bitcoin has introduced a decentralized financial system independent of governments and banks. It operates on blockchain technology, where a peer-to-peer network verifies transactions.
As of this writing, BTC is priced at $116,107, slightly up by 0.5% over the past day. The recent BTC rally is primarily attributed to accumulation by corporate holders. Michael Saylor’s Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) remains the leading corporate holder of the leading coin.
According to BitcoinTreasuries, Strategy currently holds 638,985 BTC, valued at more than $74 Billion, on its balance sheet. Other top corporate BTC holders include MARA Holdings, Bullish, Metaplanet, Riot Platforms, and Coinbase.
Publicly traded companies now hold over 1 million BTC, representing 4.7% of the total BTC supply. This absorption of supply tightens availability, potentially driving prices higher.
Market analyst Ash Crypto highlighted that M2 global liquidity has reached a new all-time high. This surge aligns with the bullish outlook for Bitcoin, signaling stronger capital inflows into crypto markets.
Rising M2 signals increased money available for investment, pushing capital into cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. With liquidity nearing $115.2 trillion, Ash Crypto expects BTC to hit a new ATH of over $209,000.
Hyperliquid (HYPER)
Hyperliquid, a Layer-1 blockchain, is another standout performer, reaching a new all-time high this week. On September 19, HYPE surged to a new ATH of $59.5, gaining 5% in 24 hours and 35% over the past month. This rally follows a consistent uptrend since April 2025.
The price has since pulled back, dropping to $55.69 as of this writing. Nevertheless, HYPE is still trading as the 11th-largest cryptocurrency, after pushing Chainlink (LINK) from this position.
Whale accumulation, on-chain activity, ecosystem partnerships, and HYPE ETF expectations drive the bullish momentum. Earlier this week, USDC stablecoin provider Circle secured a strategic alliance with Hyperliquid.
Through the partnership, Circle will expand the provision of liquidity, interoperability, and support for development on Hyperliquid.
Additionally, VanEck asset manager revealed plans to file for a U.S.-listed HYPE exchange-traded fund (ETF). VanEck hopes to satisfy the increased demand for DeFi products through a possible HYPE ETF launch.
