Forward Industries has transferred nearly a million Solana (SOL) tokens, valued at approximately $192.08 million, to Coinbase Prime.
This was not the first headline the company had made when it bought 6.82 million SOL, valued at $1.38 billion at an average price of $ 202 per token in September. According to the data, the new deposit is approximately 15% of its overall holdings, and indicates either profit-taking in part or an internal portfolio rebalancing.
Additional data suggests that 250,000 SOL was transferred to Galaxy Digital, an investment firm specializing in digital assets, later on. Galaxy Digital delivered the same number, 250,000 SOL, also in hours, to Binance, which could have been an over-the-counter transfer or liquidity in preparation to be transferred via exchanges.

A series of transactions in this case has sparked debate among analysts on whether Forward Industries is planning to sell off its Solana holdings, possibly at a loss, which could negatively impact Solana prices.
Solana’s Trading Activity Remains Robust
Although there are speculations regarding the transfers, the volumes in the decentralized exchange (DEX) of Solana are high. According to Artemis data, the 24-hour DEX trading volume generated $5.5 billion in fees, representing an 8.6% increase from the previous period.
Over the last two months, Solana DEX volumes have fluctuated between $2 billion and $8 billion, indicating the presence of liquidity and good market participation, even in the face of volatility. Interestingly, the months of September and early October had recorded highs of more than $7 billion, a time when institutional trading activities were active.

This consistent trend in volume indicates that the activity within Solana’s network is healthy. This may help mitigate potential short-term selling pressure if Forward Industries begins to sell part of its holdings.
Solana Price Structure Shows Persist Descending Channel
Solana price charts indicate that Solana appears to be acting in a downward channel. This is after a decrease in price since the end of September, when it was close to $250. Its price stands at about 203.29, and it is trying to regain its lost ground following a recovery of the $176-$180 support range.
The channel has been extended up to the level of $210-212, which forms a short-term resistance. Breaking out of this area may lead to the supply zone of the $232 and $248 region, which was a large distribution point in the past.

On the other hand, inability to maintain an upward trend above $200 would open the way to re-test of lower supports at $186 and $172. The Stochastic RSI, currently at 62.77, indicates mid-range momentum, unaffected by overbought or oversold conditions. Such positioning is common to phases of short-term consolidation that are followed by new directional movement.
Statistics by BitQuant indicate a bearish outlook for Solanma, with a volatility rate of AED 28.46 and a price of AED 202.78. SOL has a risk score of 81.65, indicating that the platform’s exposure to risk is moderate, with risks primarily associated with the concentration of holders and network volatility.

According to BitQuant’s analysis, the 10 largest holders hold 58.1% of the supply, which increases the potential for price volatility during large transfers. The upward volatility and significant wallet action indicate an apprehensive near-term orientation.
