Ethereum Price Could Rally to $7,000 If This Repeating Pattern Confirms

Ethereum price is once again following a familiar bullish pattern seen in its previous market cycles. Analysts believe this setup could lead to a significant breakout, similar to previous surges.  With momentum driving it, the top altcoin could be gearing up for an explosive push towards the $7000 region.

Ethereum Price Mirrors Past Bullish Formation

Max Crypto noted that the current structure of Ethereum is very similar to its structure in May 2025. At that time, the asset broke out of a lower low pattern and consolidation before taking off sharply from $2,400 to $3,800.

Now, Ethereum is heading towards a similar price point of around $4,100, which suggests that history is repeating itself. The chart showed another accumulation zone forming before a possible breakout and bullish momentum. If this pattern holds, the next key resistance level is expected to form near $7,000, as Max Crypto has forecasted.

Furthermore, the similarity between the two structures highlighted the repeated cyclical nature of Ethereum. Historically, there have been recurring periods of consolidation and expansion, followed by strong upward rallies. This trend helps to bolster investor confidence, and traders are once again expecting a new surge as buyers regain control.

Consolidation Phase Precedes Potential Expansion

Similarly, GalaxyBTC pointed out that Ethereum price is currently in a familiar accumulation phase. The structure resembled its June-July 2025 pattern, which was followed by a sharp rally from $2,500 to $3,800.

The chart showed a trend of “lower low” followed by higher closes, indicating less selling pressure. ETH price is currently ranging between $3,800 and $4,200 and is consolidating ahead of a potential breakout. Interestingly, GalaxyBTC emphasized that the move above this zone could lead to a powerful continuation similar to prior rallies.

As a result, this consolidation can be the ultimate preparation for a crucial price expansion. Traders are watching liquidity and volume for confirmation of renewed institutional involvement. Once a breakout occurs, Ethereum might reclaim its bullish path and form the overall altcoin recovery phase.

Pattern Repetition Confirms New All-Time Highs

Furthermore, ElCryptoProf stated that Ethereum price is repeating its 2021 breakout pattern but at a smaller scale. The chart presented a downward wedge pattern, followed by price consolidation just under a significant resistance level.

The analyst noted that as Ethereum matures, each bullish cycle occurs in a shorter time than the last. He pointed out that the current structure is healthy and is getting stronger even with shorter correction periods. On confirmation of the wedge breakout, Ethereum price could rise above $4,900 to hit a new all-time high.

Furthermore, this recurring pattern is indicative of firm investor belief and disciplined profit extraction behavior. The consolidation periods are shrinking, showing increasing market efficiency and liquidity absorption.

Meanwhile, analysts believe that this compression showed the bullish leg is ready to take off. Ethereum has the potential to drive a multi-coin rally in altcoins, and this would signal the second major leg of the bull market.

Ethereum’s Historical Rhythm Aligns with Bullish Outlook

Adding to the bullish outlook, Kamran Asghar found that the current Ethereum structure is similar to both the March 2020 rally and the March 2025 rally. Historically, these strong moves have also been preceded by short-term consolidations in late October, followed by upward movements.

He then said that Ethereum is on the brink of another turning point that could lead to a rebound. Looking further into the future, Ethereum is likely to hit its all-time highs by the beginning of 2026, following its historical growth trajectory. Asghar noted that “history doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes,” and Ethereum’s consistent cyclical performance reflects this.

Nevertheless, this rhythmic pattern suggests that Ethereum remains in a long-term bullish structure. Should momentum continue to hold, traders predict resistance to appear close to $6,800-$7,000, coinciding with Fibonacci expansions from previous cycles.

The entire pattern confirms the prediction that the next phase of bull run could already be happening for Ethereum.
