Bitcoin Outperforms S&P 500, Gold In Latest Rally, Can BTC Price Jump to $70,000?

Despite the global market volatility, Bitcoin price continues to show strength, surging past $66,500. While the S&P 500 and gold prices have been moving sideways over the past three weeks, BTC has maintained its outperformance. Furthermore, inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs have returned to a healthy level.

Bitcoin Outperforms S&P 500, Gold Hitting 5-week Highs

As per the market intelligence firm Santiment, Bitcoin (BTC) has climbed to a five-week high above $66,600. With a 13% upside in last three weeks, the BTC price has outperformed both the S&P 500 and gold over the same period.

According to Santiment, the recent rally has been supported by improving macroeconomic conditions. It includes softer inflation data along with easing concerns about the U.S. Federal Reserve policy. Furthermore, spot Bitcoin ETFs are seeing renewed inflows in July, after two months of brutal outflows in May and June.

Santiment noted that with the recent bounce, Bitcoin has closed its performance gap with traditional assets after months of range-bound trading. Analysts believe that renewed institutional participation could help the broader crypto market.

Can Bitcoin Price Reach $100K In 2026?

Crypto investors are now curious about whether the recent BTC price pump translates into sustained upside ahead. According to Kalshi’s prediction market, the odds of BTC hitting above $100K have surged to 20%, doubling from 10% earlier.

Crypto analyst Crypto Kaleo said Bitcoin (BTC) could rally to $75,000 within the next month if its current rebound continues. But the analyst confirmed that if BTC experiences another leg lower before resuming its uptrend, the timeline for the broader bull market could be pushed back.

In this case, Kaleo believes that Bitcoin price won’t cross $100K mark until early 2027. He expects new all-time highs to happen by the spring of 2027.

In the near term, analyst Crypto Martinez believes Bitcoin (BTC) is staring down a major technical test, despite the recovery to $66,000. According to the analyst, every Bitcoin rebound since November has been rejected at the Short-Term Holder Realized Price. Thus, the next major resistance level to watch for will be $69,340.
