Elon Musk net worth climbed above $935 billion in Bloomberg’s latest estimate as shares of Tesla and SpaceX recovered from their 2026 lows. Tesla ended Friday at $365.44, roughly 23% above its July low, while SpaceX has rebounded by more than 40% from its weakest public-market price this year.
The rally has reinforced Musk’s position as the world’s wealthiest person by a wide margin. His fortune remains concentrated in SpaceX and Tesla, while Neuralink and The Boring Company add smaller but increasingly valuable private holdings. A new SpaceX compute agreement worth more than $1 billion per month could further strengthen the company driving most of his wealth.
Elon Musk Net Worth Rises With Tesla and SpaceX
Data compiled by Bloomberg shows that Musk’s wealth jumped by over $16 billion on Friday. He is now worth over $935 billion after adding over $316 billion in wealth since the year started.
Elon Musk is so rich that his wealth is much more than that of the next three billionaires – Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, and Sergey Brin – combined. The three are worth over $838 billion. The remaining amount of $97 billion would make him the 22nd richest person in the world.

Musk generates most of his wealth from SpaceX, a company that leads in several important industries like space, satellite internet, artificial intelligence, and data centers.
He also derives his wealth from his large stake in Tesla, a company that makes electric vehicles. Tesla is also expanding its business in humanoids, autonomous taxis, and clean energy.
Even the smaller parts of Musk’s empire are enormous. For example, he is building Neuralink, a brain implant solution. Neuralink has a valuation of over $42 billion, making it one of the most richly valued startups in the world.
The Boring Company raised $3 billion this week at a valuation of $23 billion. Most of the newly raised capital came from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Still, there are concerns about its future since it has struggled to create a workable solution to solve the traffic congestion problem.
SpaceX Reaches a $1 Billion-a-Month Deal
Elon Musk’s net worth rose after the company reached a $1.1 billion-a-month deal with a mysterious customer. The company will start receiving these payments in December this year.
The new order follows three major data center deals. It reached a $1.2 billion deal with Anthropic, the creator of Claude. After that, it received a $925 million deal from Google. Alphabet, Google’s parent company, is one of its biggest shareholders.
The company also reached a large deal with Reflection AI, a company valued at over $25 billion. It has started paying it over $150 million a month for computing power.
Elon Musk has major ambitions for his data center project. His ultimate goal is to have orbital data centers. The benefit of having these data centers is that it has constant solar energy, solving the cost challenge.
These developments explain why analysts expect that SpaceX’s business will continue thriving in the future. Estimates are that the company’s revenue will jump to over $44 billion this year, and over $100 billion next year.
Tesla Facing Major Challenges
Elon Musk faces some major challenges. For one, Tesla, his electric vehicle company, is facing a significant slowdown in China, its second-biggest market.
Most EV companies in China, including BYD, have warned that the industry was slowing down substantially. Also, companies are contending with rising competition from and higher cost of doing business. Copper and other crucial metals have jumped in the past few months.
These are the reasons why analysts expect its revenue growth to remain under pressure. Yahoo Finance data shows that analysts expect its third-quarter revenue to drop by 2% to over $27.5 billion.
The company also predicts that it will have negative free cash flow this year because of its substantial AI costs. It is spending these funds as part of its partnership with SpaceX to build a large semiconductor manufacturing company in Texas.
