XRP price traded near $1.42 after a sharp market selloff pushed the token below the $1.50 region. The decline came as Paxos expanded institutional XRP access and CryptoQuant data showed elevated large-wallet withdrawals from Binance.
XRP also remained inside a broader technical structure that places $1.51 as an important recovery level. A sustained breakout above that area could bring the September high near $1.65 back into focus.
Paxos Adds XRP Trading and Custody
Paxos has added XRP to its Crypto Brokerage platform, allowing financial institutions that use its services to trade and custody the token. The company provides the infrastructure that partners can use to offer digital asset services to their customers.
XRP joins a broader group of assets supported by Paxos. The company started 2026 with 12 assets on its brokerage platform, while its supported asset list has since expanded to between 25 and 29 tokens. Paxos has focused on assets with established market demand as it expands the platform.
Moreover, Paxos operates as a national trust bank under the supervision of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Its regulatory structure provides institutions with a framework for accessing digital assets without building their own trading and custody infrastructure.
The addition also gives Paxos partners another way to provide XRP exposure through the same platform they use for other supported assets.
XRP Crypto Whale Withdrawals From Binance Rise
XRP price has declined 2.3% as the wider cryptocurrency market faces selling pressure from increased long liquidations. The decline has occurred while large XRP holders continue moving coins away from Binance.
CryptoQuant data shows that the 30-day total of XRP outflows from Binance has reached 1.38 billion XRP. Analyst Arab Chain identified the figure as the highest whale outflow level from the exchange in seven months.

Large withdrawals can reduce the amount of XRP immediately available on an exchange for trading. However, the data alone does not establish whether the holders intend to keep the tokens for the long term or move them to another trading venue.
XRP exchange activity also shows increased participation from large holders. Earlier data showed that addresses withdrawing more than 1 million XRP accounted for 60.8% of whale withdrawals from Binance and 48.7% from Coinbase in late September.
XRP Price Targets $1.65 After Falling Wedge Setup
XRP price is consolidating inside a falling wedge pattern on the four-hour chart. The current structure places resistance near $1.51, while support sits around $1.43.
A confirmed move above $1.51 could open a path toward the September high near $1.65. XRP would need sustained buying pressure to move through the resistance level and maintain the upward move toward that target.

XRP crypto break below $1.43 could expose the altcoin to further losses below $1.40. The price would therefore need to hold the current support area while buyers attempt to reclaim $1.51.
Meanwhile, demand for XRP exchange-traded funds has remained firm, with XRP ETFs recording inflows on October 6 alongside Bitcoin and Hyperliquid. The ETF activity provides another source of market demand while XRP price trades below recent highs.
Paxos’ addition of XRP to its institutional brokerage platform comes as the token faces these market conditions.
