The crypto market opened the week under pressure after weekend rallies lost steam. Stellar price reversed from a Sunday high of $0.297 and now hovers just above the $0.27 support. Traders are watching closely as the market decides short-term direction.
Stellar Price Movement and Key Support Levels
Stellar (XLM) experienced a sharp move upward on Sunday, reaching a high of $0.297 before reversing course. The start of the week saw increased selling pressure, pushing the price down to an intraday low of $0.276. This placed XLM just above the $0.27 support zone. Analyst Ali posted on X, warning that “Stellar (XLM) needs to hold $0.27 to avoid a 14% correction to $0.23.”
In Monday’s Early trading session, XLM was trading at $0.2830, showing a decline of over 1% over 24 hours. Technical support from the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level near $0.2794 has held so far, helping XLM recover slightly from Monday’s low. As of press time, it traded at $0.3057, representing an increase of over 3% over the last 24 hours based on CoinMarketCap data. However, if the price falls below $0.27, the following key support areas are near $0.2589 and $0.2384.

Resistance remains in the $0.287 to $0.29 zone, where the 50-day simple moving average and Bollinger Band midline are located. A successful move above these levels could allow XLM to retest $0.30. The broader upward trend from mid-April is still intact, but holding above $0.28 is essential to continue.
Liquidity and Market Volatility Show Sharp Liquidations
The broader crypto market saw sharp liquidations as prices reversed quickly. CoinGlass reported total liquidations of $669 million across assets. Of that, $465 million came from long positions and $203 million from shorts. These figures reflect unstable trading conditions.
For XLM, most long liquidations occurred when the price exceeded $0.31. As the price dropped, traders who had bet on further upside were forced to close positions. Short liquidations were lower, showing that bearish traders were more cautious and less exposed.

This shift mirrors what occurred across other altcoins. After Bitcoin’s strong move on Sunday, optimism briefly spread across the market. However, as prices reversed on Monday, heavy selling followed before the slight recovery. The resulting volatility has left traders uncertain about short-term market direction.
Market Metrics and Sentiment Shift
XLM’s 24-hour trading volume increased sharply to $255 million as of press time, up 88.83%. However, based on recent CoinMarketCap data, this was followed by a decline to $179.75 million, down 33.18%. The drop in volume suggests some traders are stepping back after the initial price surge.
The market capitalization of XLM stands at $8.79 billion, showing a daily drop of around 1.14%. The current volume-to-market cap ratio is 2.04%, indicating moderate activity compared to the overall market size. This shift may reflect more cautious behavior from investors.

Stellar’s circulating supply is 31.05 billion XLM out of a maximum supply of 50 billion. Over 18 billion tokens remain locked. If these tokens are released into the market later, they could add to the price pressure.
Technical Indicators Show Stability on Stellar Price
Charts show that Stellar was hovering near a few significant technical signals. It is below the 20-day marker at $0.2872 and close to the 50-day moving average at $0.2817. As the 200-day SMA is currently at $0.3247, the token is still declining in the long term.
Bollinger Bands show price hovering near the midline and between $0.25–$0.32, suggesting indecision.

Small-bodied candles reflect consolidation. A move above $0.31 would confirm upside continuation. If XLM drops below $0.28, expect a test of $0.266. Failure there could drag price toward $0.23.
