Key Insights:
- Bitcoin recorded a whale accumulation of over $330 million amid a bullish White House forecast.
- Market analysts project the BTC price is nowhere near its cycle top.
- Crypto regulations mark a major factor in the positive shift around Bitcoin.
White House officials have projected Bitcoin (BTC) and the crypto market to reach a valuation of $20 trillion.
The officials estimated today, August 13, 2025, coinciding with a $330 million BTC bet from a whale investor.
The $20T Bitcoin and Crypto Market Projection
Crypto market trader and analyst Henry highlighted White House officials’ $20 trillion prediction in an X post.
The crypto market currently has a total market capitalization of $4.1 trillion. Of this figure, the Bitcoin market cap stood at $2.4 trillion.
Therefore, Bitcoin and the crypto market will need to increase by over 387% to go from the current $4.1 trillion to $20 trillion.
The bullish projection from the White House officials comes amid the implementation of favorable crypto regulations in the U.S.
Specifically, US President Donald Trump signed the GENIUS legislation into law on July 18, 2025.
The GENIUS Act introduces a national regulatory framework for issuing and supervising U.S. dollar-backed stablecoins.
Its passage marks the first time Congress has passed specific legislation for stablecoin issuers operating within the U.S.
The clear regulatory framework in the US stablecoin market is expected to benefit other digital assets, including Bitcoin.
Investors will likely find the crypto market more appealing as uncertainty reduces. President Trump has consistently shown a commitment to the crypto industry since resuming his second term in office.
There are recent reports that President Trump is planning to sign an executive order that would allow crypto and alternative assets in 401(k) accounts.
The move targets the $12.5 trillion retirement market currently dominated by traditional investments.
Bitcoin Whale Snaps up $330 Million in BTC
Analyst Henry also pointed out another bullish move in the Bitcoin market. According to the analyst, a whale investor purchased BTC, valued at about $330 million.

This revelation quickly stirred curiosity and speculation within the crypto community. Many are seeking to decipher the implications for Bitcoin’s trajectory in the short term.
Actions from large entities like this BTC whale typically serve as barometers for market sentiment. Their activities can influence investor behavior.
Notably, the $330 million BTC accumulation came amid a notable increase in the price of the leading coin.
Data from CoinMarketCap revealed that BTC has increased by 1.8% within the past 24 hours to $120,453.
In addition, the market activity remained high as indicated by the trading volume. Within the period under review, trading volumes surged moderately by 7.8% to $76.84 billion.
Bitcoin to Follow Historic Consolidation-Pump Pattern
In his post, the market analyst shared a chart revealing an intriguing Bitcoin price trend. He noted that BTC is currently using the same consolidation and pump pattern.
According to the analyst, Bitcoin usually sees sharp price spikes following a consolidation phase.
In the bull market, short pullbacks are healthy as they allow the asset to gather the necessary momentum for the next leg up.
The consolidation phase is characterized by a reduction in trading volume, a sign of a decrease in immediate buying pressure.
It also shows a bearish market sentiment, where the fear of a downturn prompts investors to lock in gains.
Per market analyst JDK Analysis, Bitcoin price is now entering a toppy region with price not yet at the upper power law resistance.

The past few days have seen BTC consolidating within the tight range of $120,919. Henry predicted a target of $136,919 for BTC if the consolidation-pump pattern holds in the current cycle.
He advised BTC traders to continue investing big in the leading cryptocurrency.
His comments come amid other bullish predictions for Bitcoin. Earlier in the week, S2F founder PlanB projected the Bitcoin price would hit $300,000. His prediction, however, hinged on the S&P climbing to $7,000.
