- AVAX was among the top trending tokens on CoinMarketCap again.
Avalanche (AVAX) has been among the standout performers in altcoins. Avalanche price was trading around $25 despite the dip that saw it cross below $20.
Growing chain activity, partnerships with major global companies, and the social sentiment of the AVAX were just a few pointers making it stand out. Traders were keeping an eye on the altcoin in relation to performance on the charts.
Avalanche Price Gears for a 35% Rally
The Avalanche price chart showed that it has been subdued below the $25 level since dipping below it in early February. Avalanche price has had two noticeable runs from around $15 to $25, about a 67% change in price. A strong break above $25 could result in a 35% rally.
The current market position denoted that AVAX was at a discount. The analysis came when gauged relative to its potential target by the end of the year.
It was trading above two key levels. Its weekly and monthly simple moving averages (SMA) affirmed the bullish outlook. Similarly, the weekly Relative Strength Index (RSI) was in a bullish momentum but did not hit oversold levels.
Bulls and bears were in a spirited fight around the aforementioned resistance level. A dip to $24 or $23 would be an opportunity to go long as they coincided with the SMA support levels.
CZ, who has timed multiple reversal points, noted that dips in AVAX existed for the believers to go long, especially for Bitcoin (BTC).

In the meantime, if bulls lose the battle to bears, AVAX could slide below $20. A keen observation on the charts showed this scenario could not be ruled out.
Avalanche price consolidated in an ascending triangle pattern, which is usually a bearish reversal signal. Still, onchain signals were bent toward a bullish action.
Network Activity, Avalanche-Toyota Partnership
Avalanche’s network activity was a testament to the rising Avalanche price since the triple lows seen in March, April, and mid-June. The July Octane upgrade reduced AVAX gas fees by almost 100%, which in turn impacted its network activity positively.
Per an August 31st Avalanche post on X, AVAX C-Chain hit a record number of transactions of 2.26 Million in a day since 2024. That represented about 6x when comparing it to its long-term base value. It also represented an 83% rise from the monthly average of 1.23M but about 4M short of the peak value in 2023.
The trading volume in 2025 also passed the $100 billion mark. Its active addresses were also nearing the million mark. The total transactions since 2022 were approaching 4 billion when writing.

Avalanche still made more waves in terms of partnerships to integrate real-world use cases into the blockchain. The team was collaborating with Toyota Blockchain Lab to develop a mobility system to support autonomous Robotaxi fleets.
The partnership also pulls the extensive Asian markets toward blockchain adoption, and in this case, AVAX was at the forefront. This update was a major milestone in the car industry as more companies followed in the footsteps of Tesla, which was pro-crypto.
AVAX Social Sentiment
It’s worth noting that Avalanche’s social sentiment was also in the 95th percentile for cryptos with over $1 billion in market cap per CoinMarketCap. Avalanche was third among top trending tokens, only trailing behind Solana (SOL) and Cronos (CRO) at the time of writing.

The chart showed that its last 24-hour performance was in the green, up about 6%. The metric was an indication that Avalanche was getting recognition from users. Thus, it is among most-sort cryptos of the day.
In summary, Avalanche was trading around a make-or-break zone. Thus, traders need to hold their horses for the altcoin to print its desired direction.
