Ethereum price prediction suggests that the cryptocurrency may be on the verge of an important recovery phase, as market indicators indicate a forming bottom. Long-term analysts, who focus on chart patterns, upgrade-oriented trends, and momentary levels of supply, note that the current structure of Ethereum is critical before the upcoming December upgrade.
The Ethereum price future, therefore, depends on the ability of buyers to retain key support zones and regain significant resistance levels in the coming sessions.
Fear-Greed Structure Signal Potential Bottom
According to the weekly chart by analyst Wimar, there is a cyclical pattern of Ethereum price, with periods of maximum fear and maximum greed. Each fear-zone reading in the past would align with big market bottoms, only to be followed by massive multi-month recoveries. According to the current oscillator, Ethereum is revisiting this oversold zone, and there is a possibility that a cyclical floor is forming as ETH stabilizes.

In the meantime, the analyst noted that tops in the greed-zone generated corrective pullbacks in the past, which makes the cycle reliable. The projection window indicates that early 2026 is the next probable peak, reflecting past cycle lengths. As ETH pops out of its most recent fear reading and signals initial recovery strength, the pattern indicates that Ethereum price pattern could be on a path towards $6,000.
Will Fusaka Upgrade Be The Next Catalyst?
According to analyst CryptoGoos, Ethereum has repeatedly shown a strong tendency to rally around major network upgrades. The chart highlights the Pectra Upgrade, after which Ethereum price gained around 53%, transitioning from a prolonged downtrend into a sustained uptrend. This surge highlighted the strength of fundamental catalysts over weaker technical conditions, resetting market momentum.

Additionally, the analyst indicated that Ethereum is entering a corrective phase, just before a significant upgrade, which can be compared to the setup seen before the Pectra rebound. As the Fusaka Upgrade is scheduled in December, using historical data, Ethereum price could explode if structural supports are maintained. The anticipated increases in scalability and staking efficiency with the upgrade also make it a potential catalyst for another potentioal 50% rally.
Support Holds as ETH Consolidates at $3,200
Furthermore, analyst TedPillows’ analysis shows Ethereum stabilizing around the $3,200 mark, which has served as a recurring pivot level in previous cycles. The chart identifies the $3,072 band as the first major support where buyers have consistently absorbed sell-side pressure. Holding above this zone maintains short-term stability even though the structure remains corrective.

However, the next major test for the price sits at the $3,500–$3,550 resistance block. The asset has faced rejection at this zone several times, which makes the zone essential for momentum recovery. A clear breakout could lead to the $3,800 resistance zone. Failure to reclaim $3,500, however, could prompt a dip below $3,000 toward the deeper liquidity pocket between $2,850 and $2,900.
ETH Approaches Key Range-High at $3,250
Analyst Lennaert Snyder also showed the Ethereum price pushing toward the $3,250 range, a short-term supply level that has acted as both support and resistance. The asset has formed a sequence of higher lows while recovering from recent losses, indicating a cautious attempt by buyers to regain control.

Nevertheless, Snyder pointed to two areas of supply that could contribute to a momentum halt in the ranges of $3,220-$3,250 and $3,330-$3,380. At the first zone testing, price will most likely respond, either with consolidation or a small pullback, unless it breaks out. Failure to maintain over $3,250 could push ETH towards support near $3,100 or the previously untested lows of $3,070, further extending the bearish influence.
At the time of reporting, Ethereum price is trading at around $3,097, near the untested support zones.
