Dogecoin price attempted to stabilize after a prolonged decline erased over 70% from its previous swing high.
Buyers returned near $0.07, which several analysts identified as a major macro support zone. DOGE traded near $0.072 on July 28, with a market capitalization of roughly $12.3 billion.
The rebound gained support from price structure, Relative Strength Index behavior and historical cycle comparisons. However, DOGE crypto still needed to clear nearby resistance before confirming a broader trend reversal.
Dogecoin Price Defends a Critical Floor
Dogecoin price trades close to $0.072 after briefly testing the upper section of a broad support zone between $0.055 and $0.081. HovWave’s weekly chart places this region at the center of the current macro setup, with $0.05 acting as the decisive invalidation level.

That chart also showed price completing a five-wave decline inside a descending structure. The projected path allows for another test of support before a larger rebound, suggesting short-term volatility may persist even if the broader base holds.
A higher-time-frame close below $0.05 would weaken the bullish case and expose lower Fibonacci levels near $0.045, $0.035, and $0.031. As long as the floor survives, HovWave keeps a fifth-wave target near $4.20 in view. The setup, therefore, separates immediate risk from a much larger speculative cycle target.
DOGE Crypto Momentum Signals Start to Improve
More so, Trader Tardigrade highlighted three bullish signals on the daily chart. DOGE crypto formed a lower price low while RSI produced a higher low, creating a bullish divergence after weeks of selling pressure.

RSI also moved above horizontal resistance, while price cleared a descending trendline near $0.072. This combination suggests sellers are losing control, although the breakout still needs follow-through and stronger volume.
The daily structure now favors a recovery toward the next overhead levels if DOGE continues closing above the broken trendline. A return below the recent low would weaken the divergence and put the breakout at risk. Holding above $0.07 would help confirm that buyers are building a short-term base.
DOGE Price Faces Its First Major Test at $0.081
Notably, Ali Charts identified $0.0813 as the first meaningful resistance through the URPD profile. The level contains the largest nearby concentration of previously acquired DOGE, making it an area where holders may sell into strength.

A clean move above $0.081 could open the path toward $0.0887 before attention shifts to higher supply clusters. The next major zone sits near $0.1257, followed by $0.1478 and $0.1626.
The strongest concentration of distant supply appears around $0.1774. Reaching that level would require DOGE to break through several stacked resistance bands, but the distribution profile shows relatively lighter positioning in some of those zones. Current positioning near $0.0739 also explains why the first breakout test sits only slightly above market price.
DOGE Historical Cycles Point to Larger Targets
Meanwhile, Javon Marks compared the current structure with Dogecoin’s 2017 and 2021 cycles. In both cases, DOGE crypto advanced beyond the 1.618 Fibonacci extension after forming a prolonged base and entering a new expansion phase.

The current cycle places the 1.618 extension near $2.85, with higher projections around $7.22 and $13.99. Marks argues that a repeat move above 1.618 would require a gain of more than 3,800% from current levels.
Those projections remain highly speculative and depend on Dogecoin first holding macro support, reclaiming $0.081, and breaking the $0.177 supply wall. Near-term confirmation, therefore, matters more than distant targets, with $0.05 defining risk and $0.081 the first recovery hurdle.
