Key Insights:
- XLM price trades at $0.2830, hovering just above the critical $0.27 support level.
- A break below $0.27 could trigger a 14% drop toward $0.23, analysts warn.
- Resistance forms at $0.287–$0.29, with upside potential if bulls reclaim $0.30.
The crypto market opened Monday with sharp reversals after a weekend rally. XLM followed broader market movements, dropping below $0.2850 as traders tested key support levels.
XLM Price Reverses From $0.297 High
XLM surged to $0.297 on Sunday before sellers returned. The price dropped to $0.276 on Monday, placing it just above the $0.27 support level.
At press time, XLM traded at $0.2830, down over 1% in 24 hours. Fibonacci support at $0.2794 held, preventing further losses.
Analyst Ali warned that a break below $0.27 could trigger a 14% drop to $0.23.

Resistance remains in the $0.287 to $0.29 zone, where the 50-day simple moving average and Bollinger Band midline are located. A successful move above these levels could allow XLM to retest $0.30. The broader upward trend from mid-April is still intact, but holding above $0.28 is essential to continue.
Liquidity and Market Volatility
The broader crypto market saw sharp liquidations early Monday as prices reversed quickly. CoinGlass reported total liquidations of $669 million across assets. Of that, $465 million came from long positions and $203 million from shorts. These figures reflect unstable trading conditions.
For XLM, most long liquidations occurred when the price exceeded $0.31. As the price dropped, traders who had bet on further upside were forced to close positions. Short liquidations were lower, showing that bearish traders were more cautious and less exposed.

This shift mirrors what occurred across other altcoins. After Bitcoin’s strong move on Sunday, optimism briefly spread across the market. But as prices reversed on Monday, heavy selling followed. The resulting volatility has left traders uncertain about short-term market direction.
Market Metrics and Sentiment Shift
XLM’s 24-hour trading volume increased sharply to $270 million during Monday’s market activity, up 88.83%. However, based on recent CoinMarketCap data, this was followed by a decline to $179.75 million, down 33.18%. The drop in volume suggests some traders are stepping back after the initial price surge.
The market capitalization of XLM stands at $8.79 billion, showing a daily drop of around 1.14%. The current volume-to-market cap ratio is 2.04%, indicating moderate activity compared to the overall market size. This shift may reflect more cautious behavior from investors.

Stellar’s circulating supply is 31.05 billion XLM out of a maximum supply of 50 billion. Over 18 billion tokens remain locked. If these tokens are released into the market later, they could create added pressure on the price.
XLM Technical Indicators and Price Stability
At the moment, Stellar is hovering near a few significant technical signals. It is below the 20-day marker at $0.2872 and close to the 50-day moving average at $0.2817. As the 200-day SMA is currently at $0.3247, the token is still declining in the long term.
They give a viewpoint that is nearly the same. The currency sits close to $0.2872, just above the $0.2507 lower band and below the $0.3238 top band. It means the market is not showing a clear direction or purpose at this stage.

XLM shows small-bodied candles on the daily chart, which suggests consolidation. To keep moving forward, bulls must take the price above $0.30. A fall below $0.28 may see the price test support at $0.266, and more selling could bring the price as low as $0.23.
