The spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) market has recorded yet another huge milestone. These investment instruments trading in the U.S. saw inflows of $2.34 billion between September 8 and 12.
Likewise, Ethereum (ETH) ETFs experienced total cumulative inflows of $638 million, indicating increased institutional interest.
Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Show Bullish Vibes
As reported by Farside Investors, traders poured a total of $2.34 billion more into BTC ETFs than they withdrew between September 8 and 12.
This signals confidence among investors, as even minor profit-taking or rebalancing typically causes some outflows. Major funds, such as the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) from BlackRock and Fidelity’s FBTC, led the charge.
In fact, daily inflows peaked at around $642.4 million on September 12 alone. While FBTC saw inflows of $315.2 million, IBIT followed with $264.7 million.
Notably, the BTC ETFs have recorded inflows for three consecutive weeks, starting late August 2025. This consistency emphasizes building institutional adoption, especially amid broader market recovery and anticipation of Federal Reserve rate cuts.
In a similar move, ETH ETFs saw $638 million in net new money, again with no outflows. BlackRock’s ETHA was a top performer in recent weeks, contributing to the streak.
However, on September 12, the Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) came first with inflows reaching $168.2 million.
Historically, Ethereum ETFs have been more volatile in flows compared to their Bitcoin counterparts. However, the past week aligned perfectly with the strength of BTC.
The surging inflows into the U.S spot ETFs reflect increased demand from institutional investors, often driving up spot prices.
Additionally, the zero outflows suggest holders are in accumulation mode, betting on further upside rather than selling.
Bitcoin ETFs Set New Record
Amid the surging inflows, the spot BTC ETFs recorded a new milestone on September 10.
According to the onchain data platform Glassnode, spot BTC ETFs set net inflows of approximately 5,900 BTC on September 10.

Based on the BTC intraday price that day, this equates to approximately $741.5 million in dollar terms. This marks the largest daily inflows for BTC ETFs since mid-July 2025, surpassing even the strong flows earlier in the month.
Before September 10, the week had seen solid but not explosive inflows. The surge also pushed the weekly total to $2.34 billion, shifting market sentiment from cautious to bullish.

Between September 8 and 12, Bitcoin traded in a tight range of $113,500 to $115,200. As of this writing, BTC is priced at $115,454, down 0.44% over the previous day.
Despite the plummeting prices, analysts are still bullish about BTC’s future movements. Some have forecasted that the BTC price could hit $160,000, citing historical trends.
Ethereum Price Movement and Treasury Accumulation
Like BTC, the ETH price plunged 2.4% on the daily charts. However, the ETH price has increased by 5.5% and 1.8% over the past 7 days and months.
Typically, such a move indicates the ETH price is consolidating and awaiting the next big move to regain momentum. The rising daily trading volume further added to the bullish outlook. The metric, which indicates increased market activity, rose 20% to $33.6 billion.
Moreover, the Ethereum chart shows a continuation of its rising trend. Analysts believe a move from the current price could send ETH soaring towards a target of $5,100 and potentially $8,000 by year-end.
This projection aligns with an earlier prediction from BitMine Chairman Tom Lee. He is optimistic that the Ethereum price could rally to $15,000 by the end of 2025.
The bullish forecast by Lee follows an increase in the ETH accumulation of corporate holders. For instance, Bitmine has already bought 276,800 ETH this month.
