Global crypto investment funds saw $1.17 billion in outflows last week as uncertainty over a U.S. rate cut and market volatility hit investor confidence.
Notably, Bitcoin and Ethereum led the decline, while Solana stayed strong with steady inflows and a firm price outlook.
Solana Holds Steady as Others Fall
Digital asset investment products recorded their second week of withdrawals, according to CoinShares.
According to the update, funds saw $1.17 billion in total outflows in the week ending November 8, 2025.
The decline followed the sharp market swings that began after the October 10 liquidity shock and ongoing debate about a possible U.S. interest rate cut in December.
Leading digital asset Bitcoin products saw the largest withdrawals, totaling $932 million. Ethereum funds followed with $438 million in redemptions.
Basically, they accounted for most of the losses. At the same time, short Bitcoin exchange-traded products drew $11.8 million in inflows, showing some traders were positioning for further price weakness.
Meanwhile, Solana was the bright spot. It brought in $118 million in new investments for the week and has now attracted about $2.1 billion over the past nine weeks.
This makes Solana one of the few large digital assets to record consistent inflows while the broader market faces heavy selling.
Across providers, iShares ETFs in the United States reported $876 million in withdrawals, while Grayscale lost $142 million. Regionally, the U.S. led the outflows with $1.22 billion.
Germany and Switzerland saw gains of $41.3 million and $49.7 million, showing that European investors remained active despite the global pullback.
Solana Builds Its Name as the DeFi “Revenue Chain”
In a separate update, Solana’s steady inflows highlight its growing importance in decentralized finance.
Traders and analysts often refer to it as the “revenue chain,” showing its expanding activity in payments, staking, and decentralized applications.
Discussions on social media also point to Solana’s increasing share of on-chain revenue, with some calling it both the value chain and opportunity chain.

Meanwhile, CoinShares data suggests that many investors are rotating out of larger assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum and into faster chains like Solana.
They are now moving to lower-cost networks like Solana. Its inflows stand out as a sign that some investors still see opportunity in the DeFi sector despite a cautious market mood.
It is important to add that Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF has helped reinforce that confidence.
The fund, listed on the New York Stock Exchange on October 28, attracted $126 million in its first full week of trading.

Since its launch, it has gathered $545 million in total inflows and maintained eight consecutive trading days of fresh investment.
Bitwise’s Chief Executive Officer, Hunter Horsley, noted that demand for Solana products continued to rise as the fund’s assets surpassed $500 million.
Price Outlook and Market Sentiment
Solana’s market value rose to $92.83 billion, up 5.24% in 24 hours. Its trading volume increased 69% to $5.57 billion.
This suggests stronger activity even as many digital assets face pressure. The coin traded near $167.68, with analysts pointing to $147.49 as an important support level.
Market watchers said the recent price gain reflected continued optimism around Solana’s ecosystem and DeFi growth.
The combination of steady ETF inflows and rising network activity has helped it maintain investor attention while other assets struggled.
Bitcoin and Ethereum, on the other hand, continued to face weaker demand. Both assets have been affected by concerns about global liquidity and the uncertain path of U.S. monetary policy.
It is worth noting that despite this, total exchange-traded product volumes stayed high at $43 billion. This shows that trading activity across the sector remains strong.
