Ethereum price is holding around an important support at $3,000. With this, the analysts are pointing to developing liquidity clusters and the reduced pressure to sell.
The asset is under corrective pressure. However, various charts indicate that conditions are emerging around an upward reversal if the existing support is retained.
Ethereum Price Holds Key Support as Liquidity Tightens
According to analysts, the Ethereum price is in a corrective setup characterized by a curved resistance arc. The trend portrays several weeks of steady decline. This indicates strong selling pressure despite attempts to rebound towards higher levels.
ETH price was stabilized at around $3,020, at which the fall has decelerated since it reached multiple liquidity levels. The analyst highlighted the zones of liquidity identified in relation to previous highs and lows.
This implies the market has been sweeping across both sides of the structure, rebalancing its position.

According to the analysis, important levels sit near $3,359, $2,882, and $2,326. This defines the boundaries of the current trading range. The crypto could dip below $2,882 to gather liquidity before any potential recovery.
The projected path shows a possible sweep under this zone. A rebound toward mid-range resistance at $3,359 followed this. This level previously served as support and now represents a strong upside target if buyers regain control.
Massive Liquidity Cluster Forms Above Price
Meanwhile, analyst Crypto Rover highlighted an increasing liquidity concentration above the current price on the liquidation heatmap. Levels of intense stop-losses and liquidation are visible on the chart in the $3,550 to $3,750 level.
These levels often attract price during high volatility as larger participants look to gain extra liquidity. The trend suggests that the Ethereum price could move above these high-density zones if support holds.

A secondary cluster is in the $3,250-$3,330 range, with late short entries positioning liquidation levels slightly above. The analyst observed that such late shorts show reactive trading behavior.
This could subject the token to a short squeeze if the price recovers. In the meantime, a breach into this zone may increase momentum into the larger liquidity cluster above.
Ethereum Price Shows Resilience Amid Whale Offload
According to Ali, wallets with between 1,000 to 10,000 ETH offloaded approximately 230,000 ETH during the past week. This fall is an indication of huge distribution by whales, which usually predicts a market correction or sudden volatility.
The graph shows that holdings by this group have been on a downward trend in recent times. That’s a sign of profit-taking or reduction of risk in the current market uncertainty.

Despite this sell-off, ETH price has recorded a disproportionate drop. The analyst noted that the price has held above major levels of support. This suggests that demand is steady among the retail or institutional purchasers.
If the critical support zones absorb the selling force, then the distribution stage could lose momentum. Nevertheless, another downside risk may arise if whales leak out and the demand is not matched.
Ethereum Tests Multi-Week Downtrend Support
A different trend analysis showed that the Ethereum price is extending its prolonged downtrend. This happened after repeated failures to reclaim the $4,000-$4,200 zone earlier in the quarter.
The token has since dropped to the $3,000 support zone. There, it is trying to stabilize with lower lows and lower highs defining the price setup.
Also reinforcing bearish pressure, the MACD is below the signal line, with widening negative momentum.

However, the RSI stands at 31.65, which is near the oversold zone. This indicates that it could recover if buyers intervene. Additionally, the trading volume has been resilient and does not exhibit a capitulation spike at major reversal points.
Ethereum price may remain above the mark of $3,000. If this happens, analysts anticipate a recovery to the range between $3,200 and $3,350. The next support for the ETH price is at the $2,800 level, a key inflection point.
