Bitcoin is trading near $85,376 after spending the past two weeks inside an $83,000-$86,700 range. BTC remains above the $84,000 support area identified through URPD data, while large Bitcoin holders have added more than 14,335 BTC since Oct. 1.
The accumulation places whale holdings near 5.25 million BTC, according to Santiment data. Bitcoin also remains below the $86,700 range ceiling, leaving that level as the next resistance point.
Bitcoin Price Prediction: BTC Remains Above Major On-Chain Support
Bitcoin price four-hour structure places immediate support between $83,000 and $84,800, with the broader accumulation zone concentrated between $83,300 and $84,600. Price previously moved from the $83,000 area toward $86,700 before pulling back, and the latest candles are holding above $85,000.
A move below $84,800 would expose the lower part of the established range, while $83,000 remains the lower boundary visible on the four-hour setup.

A break above $86,700 would take Bitcoin beyond the range that has contained price for roughly two weeks. At $85,376, Bitcoin remains about 1.5% below that ceiling, leaving a relatively narrow distance between the current price and the range resistance in the current two-week trading range.
URPD distribution data indicates limited traded volume above that level until the area around $100,978, with additional concentrations appearing near $92,143 and $95,929. The data therefore places $86,700 as a key level separating the current range from higher price zones.

Above that level, the next visible concentrations are around $92,143, $95,929, $100,978 and $104,765, based on the URPD distribution presented in the data.
Bitcoin Price Holds Key Support Area
URPD data from Glassnode records about 1.59 million BTC traded between $83,300 and $84,600. That range contains the largest visible concentration around the current price, making it the main support area in the recent structure. Bitcoin has returned to this zone several times while remaining above the $83,000 floor.
The one-hour price structure also records repeated sharp declines followed by recoveries. After each recent sell-off, Bitcoin moved higher before another quick decline appeared. The recovery phases have maintained higher local lows across the sequence, with the latest rebound lifting price back toward $85,500.
Whales Increase BTC Crypto Holdings
Santiment data shows whale-held Bitcoin rising through the first days of October. Holdings increased from roughly 5.22 million BTC to about 5.25 million BTC, with the latest level remaining close to 5.24 million BTC. Ali Charts reported that large holders added more than 14,335 BTC since Oct. 1, worth about $1.22 billion at the stated valuation.

The four-hour structure also keeps $86,700 as the upper boundary that Bitcoin needs to clear before moving into the next visible price areas. Whale holdings have continued to rise despite repeated intraday declines and recoveries within the one-hour structure.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s broader market price recorded a milder decline than previous cycle drawdowns. The asset was down about 32% one year after its October 2025 record above $126,000, compared with larger one-year declines after the 2013, 2017 and 2021 peaks.
The lowest point of the current drawdown was below $59,000 on June 30, representing a decline of more than 53% from the record.
