‘MSTR Only Goes Bankrupt if an Asteroid Hits Earth’:  Ki Young Ju

CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju has defended MicroStrategy after online posts claimed the company faces liquidation risk.

He said the firm could manage its debt and continue operating even if the Bitcoin price continues to fall, while also pointing to long-term dividend coverage.

Ki Young Ju Responds to Claims of Possible MSTR Liquidation

Ki Young Ju spoke out after several social media users raised concerns about the stability of MSTR and its long-term position.

His comments appeared in a series of posts in which he pushed back on claims that the company faces the threat of liquidation.

Ki Young Ju said critics offered no strong evidence to support those claims. He noted that the company currently holds a clear identity as a Bitcoin-focused firm.

Additionally, he explained that Michael Saylor had stated many times that he would not sell Bitcoin unless shareholders asked for it.

He added that selling a small amount could damage the company’s position as a Bitcoin treasury business.

In his view, this identity shaped how the company operated and how its investors viewed it.

He also addressed questions about MSTR’s debt. He explained that the firm issued convertible notes.

Still, some online comments claimed the company could face liquidation if the notes failed to convert.

Ju said this view did not match how corporate debt worked. When a note does not convert, the issuer simply repays the debt at maturity.

He added that the company could handle repayment through refinancing, new notes, secured loans, or operating cash flow.

Ju described these steps as normal and said they did not signal bankruptcy.

The analyst acknowledged that the company could face pressure if Bitcoin falls sharply. He said the business might go through a debt restructuring if the price drops to $10,000.

In his post on X, Young Ju made it clear that restructuring did not equal liquidation. He also mentioned the preferred shares tied to the company.

He said some dividends could be deferred, while others required monthly payment. Ju noted that the company has not missed payments and could issue new shares if needed.

This step could dilute existing shares, but it would give the company room to meet obligations.

Posts Highlight Long-Term Dividend Coverage Claims

A separate post gained attention after the company said it holds enough resources to cover 71 years of dividends at the current Bitcoin price.

The post appeared to push back on the idea that the market could force a sale of the company’s Bitcoin.

It suggested that even with lower prices, the firm has room to meet ongoing dividend needs.

The post also pointed to the fact that the company holds several financing tools.

It suggested that the management team understands its debt schedule and has many paths to handle future payments.

The claim also implied that short-term market moves might not shape the long-term direction of the company.

This view added to Ju’s comments and strengthened the argument that the company saw itself as stable.

Both messages aimed to counter the idea that MSTR faces urgent financial stress or that a sudden sell-off of assets could occur.

MSTR Stock Performance Draws Continued Attention

The stock continued to attract attention as the market moved with broader Bitcoin volatility.

It is worth noting that recent trading placed the share price around $177.13.

The price moved between $171.48 and $193.53 during the day, and the year’s range extended from $171.48 to $542.99.

The stock also showed movement in pre-market trading.

Many investors watched the shifts closely because the company holds such a large Bitcoin position.

Public comments from Ju and other users showed how active the debate remained.

Their posts focused on how the company might manage its debt and how its long-term strategy shaped its outlook.

The continued discussion suggested that the market would keep examining the company’s approach as Bitcoin prices changed.

It also showed that online debates could influence how the public perceives the firm’s financial steps and future direction.
