NEAR Price Rebounds as Grayscale AI Fund Allocates Nearly 29% to $NEAR

NEAR price rose to $1.88 from $ 1.80 as the asset attempted to stabilize at one of its key technical support points. NEAR needs to preserve $1.80 to prevent its further decline to $1.00 on the daily chart. The $1.80 floor can be regarded as the last line of support.

NEAR tested this support three times between November 20 and 24. It dropped close to the price of $1.82, but soon rose again. This created several reaction wicks that indicated the demand in the short term.

The level was applicable since mid-2023 when NEAR consolidated above it and then embarked on rallies in July and October. These historical support behaviors serve as important reference points. A close below the threshold could unlock lower liquidity zones around $1.60, $1.40, and $1.05.

The day-to-day format shows a succession of lower highs since the October peak, which was around $3.20. NEAR lost the mid-range of $2.40 in the middle of November and fell to the $1.8 support.

The projected trend of the chart indicates that there are various potential rebounds in this zone, attempting to regain the $2.00 level. However, the analyst’s map also outlines a scenario where failure at $1.80 triggers a staged decline into the $1.60, $1.30, and $1.00 regions.

Grayscale’s AI Fund Allocation on NEAR Adds Upward Pressure

This recovery was accompanied by fresh attention to NEAR after new investments in the Decentralized AI Fund by Grayscale, which also recently filed for an IPO. By November 19, the fund invested 28.74% of its portfolio in NEAR.

The new list of holdings has NEAR in the second position based on six assets, overtaking Filecoin (13.06%), Render (10.60%), Story (8.84%), and The Graph (5.84%). This new weighting added to the new interest in short-term trading.

The near price bounced back from its recent dip instantly as news of the allocation became known on social networks.

In the past, NEAR has proved to be strongly correlated with institutional announcements. Price momentum was observed in March 2024 in the previous versions of fund inclusions and in milestones of network upgrades.

The November allocation is one of its most concentrated investments in a big AI-based investment vehicle.

Short-Term Bubble Risk Chart Flags Bearish Reading

Individual on-chain data provided by the NEAR Short-Term Bubble Risk indicator yielded a value of 0.720, indicating a bearish environment. The indicator measures the price of NEAR against its 20-week trend.

According to historical readings, NEAR is likely to record deep blue values when the market bottoms, as observed in June 2021, July 2022, October 2023, and early 2025. Red areas that were elevated in the past are associated with tops in January 2022, March 2024, and July 2025.

The current reading is in the light-blue band. The reading indicates that one is below the trend baseline but has not yet reached a capitulation zone.

The chart also indicates that NEAR was trading between $6 and $20 during past peak cycles, as the readings shifted into the red zone or orange zone. Its current sub-2 status puts it in the vicinity of multi-year low-risk areas. This is consistent with the broader market weakness observed at the end of 2025.
