BMNR stock retreated for four consecutive sessions as the broader crypto market remained in consolidation.
BitMine Immersion Technologies shares traded near $18 after reaching approximately $19.31 earlier this month. The pullback came as Ethereum remained near $1,900 and investors assessed BitMine’s slowing ETH accumulation.
The company is now approaching its long-term target of owning 5% of Ethereum’s supply. However, its current buying pace suggests completing that target could still take several months.
BitMine Nears 5% Ethereum Accumulation Target
BMNR stock has plunged sharply from its highest level last year. Recently, however, it has remained in a consolidation phase as investors assess the ongoing performance of Ethereum and other coins.
The company has continued its Ethereum accumulation this year. In a statement on Monday, Tom Lee said that the company added 7,391 ETH coins last week. It has now added 35,200 coins in the last 30 days, bringing its total holdings to 5.8 million coins, which are equivalent to 4.8% of its supply.
This means that the company needs to buy about 194,762 coins to hit its 6% target. If the trend continues, it means that it will conclude its accumulation in the coming weeks or months.
After doing that, the company will shift from Ethereum accumulation and dilution to generating revenue. It has already staked 5,067,309 coins valued at over $9.8 billion.
By staking its coins on its Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN), BitMine is earning an annual yield of 2.63%. It now expects to make about $257 million in annualized revenue.
From Cash Burning to Free Cash Flow
Future revenue will likely be higher than that in the long term, especially if Ethereum bounces back. Yahoo Finance data shows that the company’s annual revenue for 2026 will be $429.8 million, up by 243% from the $125 million it expects to make this year. This revenue estimate, however, is hard to tell because it depends on the average ETH price.
Therefore, the company will transition from being a highly dilutive company into a free cash flow machine. It will achieve this because of its business model, which is highly asset-light.
For example, most of the $429 million it is expected to make next year will be pure profit since the company has a handful of employees. It will now use the free cash flow, either to repurchase its stock, reversing the recent dilution. Also, the company plans to use the funds to pay a dividend to its shareholders and make third-party investments.
The main risk facing BitMine stock for now is that Ethereum remains in a narrow range of $1,890. It has been unchanged in the past month, and there are signs that demand among investors is waning. Spot Ethereum ETFs had outflows in the last two consecutive days, while the futures open interest has dwindled.
Additionally, one of the biggest Ethereum buyers will leave the market when BitMine stops its accumulation. Such a move may affect ETH demand in the long term.
BMNR Stock Price Forecast
BMNR stock has recovered from its June low near $12.54 but has remained in a consolidation structure during recent weeks.
The daily chart showed the stock moving inside an ascending channel after rebounding from that yearly low.

BMNR also remained above its 50-day moving average, which continued to provide technical support.
The Percentage Price Oscillator moved above its zero line, while both indicator lines pointed higher. That structure showed improving medium-term momentum despite the latest four-session decline.
The lower boundary of the ascending channel remains the immediate support area.
Holding that structure could allow BMNR to recover toward its recent highs if Ethereum also strengthens.
A breakdown below the channel would weaken the recovery structure and could expose the June low around $12.50.
On the upside, Ethereum remains an important catalyst. A sustained ETH move above $2,000 could improve the value of BitMine’s treasury and strengthen sentiment toward BMNR.
However, BMNR’s performance will also depend on staking income, future share issuance, repurchases and the premium or discount investors assign to its Ethereum holdings.
BitMine is approaching its 5% Ethereum target, but current accumulation rates suggest the final stage could still take several months.
