An interesting crypto news has seen yet another individual become a millionaire. A trader who invested just $3,000 in crypto has amassed profits of $2 million.
This development comes amid an upsurge in the crypto market, fueled by an “Uptober trend” and rising institutional interest.
Crypto News of a Trader Who Turned 3 BNB Into $2 Million
Onchain data analytics platform Lookonchain shared the details of the transaction on X. According to Crypto News by Lookonchain, a savvy trader with wallet address 0x872a made a bold move in the market.
They started with just 3 BNB and acquired a staggering 16.86 million $4 tokens. This transaction has caught the attention of analysts tracking blockchain activity.
At the time of the purchase, 3 BNB was valued at $3,060, implying a price of about $1,020 per coin. Later, the trader sold 5.12 million $4 tokens for 110 BNB, valued at about $118,700 at the time. This implies approximately $1,079 per BNB, showing slight price appreciation.
After the sale, the trader holds 11.75 million of the $4 token, worth about $1.88 Million. Accordingly, they turned a modest initial investment of about $3,000 into roughly $2 Million, representing a 652x return.

The huge returns show the token pumped even further after the partial sell, up another 7 times from the sale price. The trader likely monitored new token pairs on a decentralized exchange (DEX) and bought in immediately after liquidity was added.
Additionally, the $4 price point exploded, possibly due to a retail frenzy or influencer-driven hype. Tokens like this often achieve huge market caps quickly before experiencing a dump.
However, stories like this fuel the crypto market vibes. It also serves as proof that anyone can make huge returns from crypto with luck and timing.
Crypto News: Erik Voorhees Highlights the Potential of Crypto in FX
In a parallel crypto news update, American entrepreneur Erik Voorhees shed light on how crypto can solve financial stress. His comments are in response to statements from UniSwap CEO Hayden Adams that DeFi will replace TradFi due to greed.
However, Voorhees defended “greed” as a natural economic force. He argued that TradFi inefficiencies, like high airport exchange rates, aren’t due to greedy businessmen. Instead, he blamed strict government regulations for the problem.
Voorhees pointed out that it’s illegal for app developers to enable seamless forex trading on mobile devices. He emphasized that even instant fund transfers are restricted by regulation. He blamed constraints on the “unseen folly” of regulatory schemes.

However, Voorhees hailed crypto as the hero that can solve foreign exchange transactions. He noted that blockchain technology enables borderless, permissionless financial tools that bypass regulatory schemes.
In essence, he thinks people should blame the rules, not the players, and bet on crypto technology to rewrite the story.
Best Time to Trade? Uptober to Bullcember Era
Meanwhile, the crypto news outlook proves that a bullish turnaround has occurred since the start of October 2025. The market already looks prime for more breakouts, with Bitcoin (BTC) inching closer to its all-time high.
After recently nearing the $121,000 mark, BTC has now moved above $122,000, as of the time of writing. BTC is currently valued at $122,082, up 1.4% increase over the past 24 hours.
One key metric fueling the bullish outlook is the Coinbase Premium Gap, which surged to 91.68, approaching three digits. Analysts expect that BTC will continue to see an uptrend from the current levels.
Note that the ongoing rally is not limited to BTC. Top altcoins, including Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and XRP, have also seen their prices climb higher.
Analysts are even anticipating the arrival of an altseason as the altcoin market cap approaches the $1.57 Trillion target. Notably, the current market rally is consistent with the bullish trends seen in October, often referred to as Uptober.
That said, investors can maximize the ongoing rally to accumulate gains. However, success comes from discipline, and not necessarily dates.
